A young calico queen sat on a frosted branch that looked over the junkyard, her pale green eyes reflecting the moon as she looked down at the things she had stolen earlier that night, the Woolworth pearls she wore shining in the starlight. Her partner in crime had for whatever reason been avoiding her for days, all she wanted was to curl up next to him again and be able to tell him how she felt. 'He's just got a queen friend or something' she sighed, he could never feel the same way she felt towards him. 'I love you Mungojerrie' the words filled her mind, many other Jellicles already saw their connection but she wouldn't see it until this very night.
A small crunch of the delicate snow below her knocked her out of the deep thought she was in and a soft voice filled her ears.
Jerrie:
"My dearest friend,
