Time after Time
It took 2 years after graduation for them to meet up again.
7 months for Rachel to actually decide that they were friends.
1 year of being friends for Puck to admit he had feelings for Rachel (though he only admitted it to himself).
Another 6 months for him to admit it to her.
About 20 seconds for her to attack his face with kisses and squeal "finally! Goodness, Noah. I thought I was going to be residing in a nursing home by the time you realized you liked me."
4 relatively perfect months for them to have their first fight.
1 minute for her to storm out of the door.
2 minutes for him to follow her (and only because he had to figure out what to say).
10 minutes for Puck to find Rachel - those little legs move fast.
20 more minutes of fighting for Rachel to say "maybe we're not right for each other" as much as it pained her to say it.
10 seconds for Puck to say "fuck that noise" and kiss the hell out of Rachel.
After that, 3 months for him tell her he loved her and 1 second for her to say it back.
6 months for them to get engaged ( his mother practically pissed her pants with excitement )
8 months for them to be married in front of all their family and friends - including the New Directions; they weren't surprised at all that the high strung Rachel Berry was now linked to her polar opposite ( Tina said they balanced each other out ).
2 months for Rachel Puckerman to become pregnant.
9 months of hormones, cravings-sometimes for sex (Puck doesn't complain), and doctors visits for Rachel to give birth to Hanna Elizabeth Puckerman.
30 seconds of shock before Rachel witnessed Noah Puckerman cry for the first time. (Tears of joy)
23 years later Noah cries again as he hands his daughter over to a man that is too much like him for comfort but he made his little girl happy and that was enough.
5 minutes for this conversation:
"Noah, she's still our little girl."
"Yeah, but now I'm just 'Dad'. No more 'Daddy'. I'm fucking old. I'm like getting wrinkles and shit."
"You're still plenty attractive, Noah."
"Damn right I am. I'm stud and I always will be."
"Sure, Noah."
"Hey, Rach?"
"Yeah?"
"You're kinda sexy too."
"Kind of?"
"I'm kidding. You're fucking bangin'"
"Noah! You're incorrigible."
"That'll never change, babe, and you love me for it."
"I do."
And the rest is forever.
