There was nothing left of her... Nothing but an empty emotionless shell of who she was before!

Carver Hawke couldn't believe it, his sister, Marian Hawke, was tranquil... Varric had told him in a letter, detailing that something happened at Weisshaupt that destroyed his sister's connection to the Fade.

Now Carver stood before his sister, staring blankly at the Sunburst brand upon her forehead, he felt sick to his stomach, as if he wanted to throw up.

"Carver, why are you looking at me like that?" Marian Hawke asked emotionlessly, her blue eyes no longer carrying her annoying humor.

Carver threw his arms around his older sister and held her tightly, pulling a small blade from his lower back. Being a Grey Warden meant making the hard decisions, right?

Carver winced as he heard his sister's gasp of pain just as the knife pierced her gut, he had just killed his own sister!

I'm so sorry, Sister... Carver thought to himself as he pulled the blade from Hawke's body, he gently lowered her to the floor of her own bedroom and began weeping like a wounded Mabari.

"I'm tired of your stupid jokes! Why can't you just be... just... NOTHING!?!" Carver had spoken those words after his sister tried lightening his mood after Garrett died at Ostagar, he regretted those words now...

"Would you rather I be Tranquil?" She had asked, his answer disgusted him.

"Yes!"
