Chapter 1: Moving In, Moving Out
The day after Thanksgiving. It was usually a calm day in the Dawson household, but not this year. The living room was full of people, and the bedroom of soon-to-be 17 year old Raini Dawson, who was famous around Chicago and Miami for her childish behavior, Not even eight months ago, Raini her sister Ally, her friends, Trish, Dez, Rocky, and CeCe, and her boyfriend Austin, found out that she was about a month or so pregnant. So, Raini decided to move in with Austin, Dez, and Austin's younger sister, Clara, a month before the child was due. That's why her bedroom was bare except for a bed and the living room was full of people. Seated on the couch was her, Ally, and Trish. A loud grunt was heard as a box was placed by the couch. "Why are Dez and I the only ones carrying boxes?" Austin asked, somehow seating himself between Raini and Ally.
"Because, me, Raini, and Trish packed up everything last night." Ally replied. "plus, you and Dez are stronger than the three of us combined." She added, making Austin raise an eyebrow in response. He rose from his seat and muttered something about laziness. Raini let out a small laugh.
"Do you really want Ally to carry them? By the time you were done, most of the boxes would probably contain broken glass." She said in a joking manner. Ally gave her sister a "I'm-not-that-clumsy" look. Mr. Dawson chuckled and gave his two daughters a smile as Austin left the room with the last box.
"I'm really gonna miss you Raini." He started. "I want you to stay, but we don't need another mouth to feed,"
Raini smiled. "Dad, the baby's not due for another month."
"Oh, I know. I was talking about Austin." Mr. Dawson replied, just shortly after Austin entered the room.
"Thanks Mr. Dawson." He said with a sarcastic smile.
"All packed." Austin patted the blue truck. "Dez, go ahead and take the stuff to the apartment. Me and Raini will meet you there." He said as Dez got into the truck.
"Alrighty, see ya there!" Dez called off as he drove off. Meanwhile, Raini was saying goodbye to her family. Her mother and her father gave her a heat-shapped necklace and a charm bracelet. She gave her sister one last hug before leaving.
Austin repeatedly knocked on the door. "Des, Clara, open up! He shouted for about the tenth time. Raini sighed and twisted the doorknob and the door swung open. Austin gave her a surprised look, but all she did was raise an eyebrow.
"The door was unlocked the whole time you were knocking and shouting." She said before entering.
"I knew that…" He replied before entering
