Les Miserables:
Marius and Eponine a Sad Beautiful Tragedy
The story takes place the first time Eponine sees Cosette when she is older during the revolution.
Eponine feelings for Marius are already made clear during this part of the movie.

"Marius, I have come to help you fight!" Eponine says running up to him with her arms wide open. Marius body locks up as Eponine wraps her arms around him while her hands move down to the small of his back.
"Are you mad 'Ponine?" Marius ask grasping her shoulders and gently shaking her. "This is a not a women's fight, go home be with your family." Marius stares deeply into Eponine eyes as they start to water.
Without you my life has no mean, I will live or die with you, Marius…" Eponine starts then gunshots go off.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
The cracks of gunfire surround the barricade made up of chairs and desk from the French peasants. "French Revolution coming!" screams the rebels. Out of the darkness, a blonde hair girl approaches the barricade. Eponine snickers as Marius looks in gawk.
"Cosette, why have you come out? Do you have any idea what you are doing?" Marius says.
I want to help!" Cosette firmly states.
"Like a girl like you can help." Eponine snaps glaring angrily. "You already ruined my parents reputation, don't ruin this revolt for France…" Eponine walks near Cosette.
"Stop this 'Ponine!" Marius screams grabbing her arm and pulling her back. "Grab a gun." He tosses a gun to Cosette as she loads it and takes cover behind a stack of chairs. On the other side Javert and his French army were prepared to blow the barricade all apart.
"Cannon balls get ready for launch!" Javert commands raising his sword. "Ready!"He raises his sword towards the barricade. "Surrender now kids, this isn't worth it." Javert warns one last time.
"Everyone on the ground now!" Marius says quickly and quietly. "Aim" Javert says calmly to his troops. "Now! Take cover now!" Marius screams running to Cosette. "Get down!" Marius says to her pushing her to the ground. Suddenly, gun shots light up the air and cannon balls collide with the barricade spreading chair everywhere. After the smoke clears after five minutes, Marius finds Cosette lifeless body with a single gunshot wound to her heart. Her lifeless eyes has a well formed tear on its' crease and her blue eyes stare at the ground.
"Marius, we must get out of her!" Eponine screams grabbing his arm and running with the other rebels to safety.
"I can't leave her!" Marius darts for Cosette body and bullets fly above his head. When he finally grabs it, Cosette body slumps to the cold ground below and a cannon ball hit the ground underneath his feet. Marius makes his way back to Eponine, looks her in the eyes then kisses her deeply, "I love you." Then they both duck and run to fight another day.
