Through the Eyes of a Silvite
Hello folks! It's me, Vyse the Incredibly Cool, and here is a fic from the game that gets me my newest name! This is a Vyse/Fina fic (unlike most other games, I support two romances with the same character equally as much, in this case, Vyse/Fina and Vyse/Aika) Anyway, read and review, and most of all, enjoy! Oh, and it's a multi chapter fic, made that way to leave you readers hanging. HA! Enjoy!
It was a breezy, chilly night at Crescent Isle. The wind whistled and howled, and rattled the doorframes of the buildings. The windows creaked and rattled. Vyse was stirring in his bed. The air pirate was mumbling in his sleep. He was mumbling about Ramirez, which was not at all odd, because the battle with the corrupted Silvite was only a week ago. "Erg…no…. Arg…damn Ramir…Ramir…" all of a sudden, Vyse rolled over and fell off the bed! "AAK!" Vyse screamed, gaining his composure. "Ugh…rolled off the bed…" Vyse crawled back into bed, but found he couldn't fall back asleep. "Man, what a dream!" Vyse said to himself.
I might as well just see how the storm is doing.
He jumped out of bed, rubbed his eyes, and fumbled around for the door. His hand reached the doorknob and he turned it. Vyse stepped out into the biting wind. The wind was blowing hard from the west, and it was rattling the buildings. Vyse trudged through the wind and made his way down the wooden stairs. As he trudged towards the water at the edge of the island, he spotted a silhouette standing near one of the Delphinus's skyboats. Vyse slowly made his way towards the figure. The shaped turned, and Vyse could barely make out Fina's distinct features. Slowly he trudged toward her, blocking the wind he was going straight into. "Fina!" he yelled, slowly making his way up the hill. "Fina!!!!" Fina turned around."V-Vyse?" Vyse made his way up to Fina's side.
"Wow! What a storm!" noted Vyse, looking out at the stormy sky.
"Yes, quite. I'm never seen it like this before…only the Rains of Destruction would be stronger than this…" replied Fina. She was staring blankly at the ground. Vyse's mouth curled.
"What's wrong, Fina? You look…down."
"It's nothing."
"Oh, come on, Fina, I can tell these things…after all, we have been traveling together for a long time!" Fina looked at Vyse.
"Well, I…Ramirez….I was wondering….why he disobeyed the elders' orders…I don't understand…"
Vyse stared at the ground and kicked a rock into sky. He wanted to do SOMETHING, but he didn't want to blow the moment.
"I don't know…all I know is, he knew his allegiance. I guess that…he felt that he wanted one rule, and one rule alone under Galcian…but…….." as Vyse was finishing, Fina began to sob, ever so softly. Vyse turned to her. "Fina…you…don't……"
Fina turned to Vyse. "Oh…Vyse…..I'm sorry….." Fina said weakly. Vyse gently wiped the tears from her eyes. Vyse grinned one of his trademark grins.
"C'mon, Fina, let's go back. You must be getting cold!" Vyse put his arms around Fina and walked with her back to the cabins. Vyse walked Fina to her door.
"Vyse…thank you." Said Fina, and she bowed politely.
"Heh! No thanks needed! Good night! Don't let the bedbugs bite!" and Fina walked into her room, glancing into Vyse's eyes one more time before shutting the door. Fina…sleep well… Vyse turned and went into his room. He crawled under his covers, which were awfully light for such a cold night, and fell into a deep sleep. He dreamt of flowers…
