Canada looked back to the mirror. He tried bowing his head a bit and looking over the lenses. He looked at a 45 degree angle. He looked straight through them and furrowed his brow.
"Hahaha, they are cool, right? You can use them to be really expressive~"
Canada blushed, realizing he was doing the same thing he had just been silently saying America was strange for doing. America reached over and pushed Canada's glasses further up his nose.
"They make you look really cute, but make me look really sophisticated! Isn't it amazing how these glasses make us look so much more individual?" America grinned.
"R-really? I guess they do, s-sort of," Canada said, slightly happy at his brother's thoughtfulness.
He picked up his teddy bear and hopped off the stool, closely followed by his brother.
"I mean, I don't want people to compare us, I'm a hero! I am way different!"
Tears formed at the corners Canada's eyes. He threw his bear at America's face, knocking his glasses off.
"Just when I thought you did something for ME for once!"
America laughed. "I'm sorry, I was just being stubborn. I got them thinking of you. I will wear them thinking of you."
Canada blushed and swiped up the fallen glasses, shoving them back on his brother's face.
"I-it's lunch soon. L-l-let's have hamburgers," He squeezed out, embarrassedly, adjusting his own glasses.
---------
Canada peeked into America's room. America was snoring loudly, half about to fall off the bed, sheets tangled strangely. And his glasses firmly on his face.
It must be some kind of magic they don't get broken, he thought.
