Hey guys, WAS MONDAY NIGHT NOT AMAZING!!?? I personally can't wait to see where they take this story and these are just my thoughts as to what I hope happens and/or does not happen.

I don't own Castle or I would be writing episodes not fan fiction. As always, read and review, you guys have no idea how much they make me smile :)

"Beckett?"

"BECKETT!!!!"

Castle yelled, increasingly louder as he entered Beckett's charred apartment. He was answered with a week cough coming from the charred remains of her bathroom. The bathtub! Castle thought. He began to run after realizing that Beckett hadn't picked up because she was showering. Maybe, just maybe, she had had time to jump into her iron tub and it had saved her.

"Beckett? Where are you? Are you okay?"

"In here, Castle" she cried as loud as she could, her body weak from the shock.

"Beckett." he said with relief as he ran in and saw her body, crumpled and bloody, her slender frame covered in debris. He pulled her out of the rubble.

"Castle...." she whimpered as she faded in and out of consciousness.

"Shh, don't speak." he said as he carried her out.

"I'm fine....he's still out there...need...to...find...him." Beckett said, using the last of her borrowed strength to tell Castle this.

"No." Castle said "Agent Shaw will find him. You need to heal."

"Agent Shaw still impressing you with her toys?"

"Yeah, I guess." he said, realizing his attempts to make her do or not do anything, were futile.

Castle brought Beckett to the paramedics and handed her off to them. Castle followed close behind the ambulance, this is my fault...if it weren't for me, for Nikki Heat; this guy never would have killed those people or, hurt her."

Castle was beginning to realize how much Beckett really had changed him. Before her, a serial killer killing in the name of Nikki Heat would have been an honor. As Castle recalled the way the met, he was even flattered by a copycat killer. She matured him. His view on life and death and family changed because of her. Alexis and Martha fit so perfectly with Beckett and him that they almost resembled a family. Almost, but not quite, Castle thought as he pulled into the hospital.

"She's fading.... contusions on the....."

The din of hospital noises faded in and out of Beckett's barely conscious mind. Where the hell is Castle?" she thought as she drifted off.

"Beckett?"

Beckett heard the sounds of the familiar voices of Castle and also those of her colleagues, Esposito, Ryan and Captain Montgomery. She also heard a vaguely familiar voice that she recognized as Agent Shaw's.

Goodbye, Nikki

The last night's events flashed before her as she realized where she was. The killer was still out there, still killing. In my name, she thought.

"Goodbye Nikki." she whispered to herself as she shook herself awake.

"Beckett!" Castle said, jumping up, "What'd you say?"

"Oh, Castle. Just the last thing I heard. It said, Goodbye Nikki. The bomb wasn't a ploy. You were right, Castle. Ben Conrad wasn't our killer, just another victim."

"Beckett!" Alexis exclaimed as she ran into the hospital room "You're okay!"

She gave Beckett a hug as she looked at the doorway and Martha walked in.

"Kiddo! Good to see ya awake!"

"Thanks you guys but I need out of here as soon as possible. What exactly is wrong with me?"

"The doctor said some contusions on your head, bruising, you have stitches in your left arm and you will be sore for a while."

"So, I can go back to work?" Beckett said, more as a statement then a question.

"Do you ever stop?" Castle said

"I'm gonna get the discharge papers as soon as possible. Oh and no, Castle, I don't stop; not when there's a psycho out there, killing in the name of Nikki Heat and blood lust."
