I stared at myself in front of the mirror.

My hair is done, there's makeup on my face and I'm wearing a dress.

This is probably the prettiest I've ever seen myself.

I sign. It's time.

With heavy footsteps I walked out of the room, down the hall and stood by the stage beside him. Her. Them.

I'm smiling now as if nothing ever happened. He caught my eye and nodded at me. I smiled and turned my gaze to her. She looks gorgeous in that white dress just like how he looks handsome in his Tuxedo. They're perfect for each other.

I looked at everybody in the reception. All of them I recognise. All of them happy.

"Everybody here probably doesn't know how it all started" I began.

"Well I'll tell you what. And you probably won't believe me. It all started in high school all those years ago." Then I realised, "Dang I'm old." And they laughed.

"Anyways, you'd probably think that Sasuke here is all dark and mysterious."

"Emo boy" Somebody added.

"Yep Emo boy." I agreed and continued, "But deep inside he's actually a hopeless romantic.

Like in high school when he asked me everything about a certain someone."

I looked at them and I saw him glaring at me daring me to continue. And that's what I did.

"I think he wants me to stop. Sorry Sasuke, it's your special day and besides, this is my present for Hinata." She looked at me with a blush on her cheeks and giggled.

"As I was saying. How am I supposed to know someone's ring size? About what colour she likes? What food she likes? Any crushes?

Those are just some of the questions he kept on pestering me with.

I had to be his 'informant' and 'stalker buddy' for a couple of months until we got closer to Hinata and befriended her.

Do you know how much work and effort it is?" Everybody laughed at my story. I looked at him and he just shook his head with a permanent scowl but deep inside I know he's happy.

I told everybody about some of our most embarrassing ventures as stalker buddies and about me trying to get information about Hinata without being too suspicious and how she thought Sasuke was an Emo kid.

Everybody's having good laugh. Hinata's laughing too. I could see how happy she is. And Sasuke. Well he's just pissed. I'm sure he's going to get me back someday.

"I always knew they're meant to be. I mean look at them.

Anyways, to end this speech, I just want to say that I'm glad that you two are finally together.

Cheers to both of your future."

As everybody cheered, I hugged Hinata like there was no tomorrow. I didn't want to let go but I had to.

Before I hug him, I looked him in the eye and I felt like time stopped. He's happy. She's happy. That's all that matters.

"Thank you." I didn't realise he's holding me in his arms. "For everything."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around him.

I looked at them one last time and just like that. I exited the stage, down the hall and into the room.

With my hair undone, my face bare and the dress on the floor somewhere

I closed my eyes and dreamed

Of my love for her. Of his love for her and how I made the right choce.
