How could ten little words cause so much trouble?
We're both outcasts. I knew that from the first second I saw her sitting on the grass with her horse. I knew that we were both scared and lonely, hiding behind a tough front to protect ourselves. I learned that all in one quick glance. And I'd hoped that maybe together we could overcome our fears.
How could I have been so wrong?
I messed it all up.
She's gonna make it; I know she will, because she's too brave to let anyone get in the way of what she wants. She even took Bandit and hid him that one time to keep me from getting him. I think that's when I first saw her as someone other than the girl who had somehow ended up with my horse. I saw her as someone kinda like me; too stubborn for their own good.

That's right, she is no one like who I thought she was. She's so much braver and stronger, so much better than I thought she was. She's someone I admire. I think that she's an angel, sent from above, maybe to help me change. Because that day, as I turned and walked away from her, I realized that I'd never felt that way about anyone before. I wanted so bad to just turn around and run back to her. But I didn't. I just kept walking on and on, away from her, away from my chance, away from everything.
