Just Us!
The fire burns,
Scorching my flesh,
Light shining bright,
I can't see.
Blood falls from above,
Running down my face,
I see nothing
But the fire,
I hear nothing
But my beating heart.
I cry out,
No one comes,
Where are you,
Have you escaped this hell,
Where are you,
Do you search for me
As I search for you.
I see you,
You're here,
Staring down at me.,
Flames consuming you,
Your blood upon me.
I reach for you,
You're too far,
So close,
Yet so far.
I scream out your name,
The flames engulfing the room,
The light fades,
Fades from your eyes,
Gone forever.
I cry out once again,
Screaming in the night,
I awake form the flames
Cold sweat rolling down my back.
You're still beside me,
Sleeping peacefully beside me,
No flames,
No blood,
Just us.
