Again:
I do not own The World Ends With You, Square Enix does!
Written for Twelve Shots of Summer: Quarter Queller - Week 3…
Couldn't it do more than smile at her?
Why, for the love of fucking why, did it do that!?
All she wanted to do was punch it!
Smash its happiness off its stupid face!
Her head hurt whenever she looked at it…
But something about it made her stop.
Again, and again she came here…
Back to that stupid black and white cat…
It irked her that she couldn't stop herself!
That she couldn't stay away from the stupid thing!
She had no fucking clue why anyone would make this…
Or why this shitty art form made her feel different…
It became a regular thing for her,
To wander back and scowl at it for hours,
Briskly pacing in front of it,
Feeling a temporary relief from her anger,
Spiteful that it caused her to feel like this!
But stayed here, nonetheless…
No one approached the mural when she was here,
She warded off the morons who wanted to view it,
But it wasn't like she did that intentionally,
She saw how they always threw dirty looks at her,
Like they were being deprived from drugs…
Not that she cared, she never did.
Everything made no sense to her,
Why she was in Shibuya,
Why she returned to the stupid mural,
It baffled her, no matter what,
And something about it made her wonder,
"What do you fucking want from me!?"
As horrible as it was, as stupid as it was,
It held something no other districts had,
It prodded her mind about something,
She felt drawn in by it… captured by its gaze…
She felt like it called out to her…
And she wanted to tell it to fuck off!
What was so important about this mural!?
Why couldn't she figure it out!?
She wanted to stop coming here!
She didn't want to go back!
But she found herself glaring at it again,
Again, and again...

I hope you enjoyed the poem! =3

EeveeGen9988: ...I don't normally dip my paws in spoken word poems... but I felt like it was fitting in this case, heh. =3
Also, I kind of find it strange, but I do recall that I wrote a poem for Week 3 of Twelve Shots of Summer: Trinity Limit... What a coincidence... O_O
Fun-Fact: I really wanted to call this Calling instead of Again… but I feel as though calling it the name of Calling wouldn't be good… considering TWEWY's Calling doesn't match up with this poem thematically. Despite that, I feel like Calling would have been a better name for the poem.
