narrator: it is a very special day in our city Father's Day, but for one Toby Mcallister it is a day of pure grief
Toby: he wanted the thoughts to end. He wondered why he was still haunted every year. His dad had left years ago, and yet he was plagued with thoughts of self-doubt and abandonment. Now usually around this time Theodore Mcallister the 3rd (Toby) would lock himself in his room letting the tears freely fall, but today he heard a gentle voice telling him it would be ok and to just go for a walk. So here he was walking down the street utterly confused.
Becky/wordgirl: she couldn't explain it just moments ago she was laying on the couch watching a pretty princess marathon. When she felt the undeniable desire to just take a walk. So here she was not knowing what she supposed to do, but only knowing she had to do it.
(30 minutes later)
they finally came across each other
becky: (happily) hey toby
Toby: (eyes downcast) hey becky
Becky's eyes sift from happy to concerned: what's wrong
toby: (whispers) I'm not good enough
becky: what
toby: I'm Not Good Enough For My Dad (mumbles) or wordgirl
becky: who says?
toby well no one but
becky:but nothing, Toby Ur A Great Guy, it's your dad who not good enough for you.
Toby smiles widely
becky: and Toby
toby: yeah
becky: (grabs him by the shoulders and kisses him softly on the lips) before she pulls away, she whispers in his ear U R GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.
