I feel guilty

my words are empty

I don't have the time for you

She knew that he would never come back. No matter how much she convinced herself, she knew, deep inside, that he never loved her. She hurt so much. So much that she wanted it to all be over.

You say i'm heartless

and you say I don't care

I used to be there for you

and you've said I seem so dead, that I have changed

but so have you

Sitting on the side of her bath, she took hold of the razor that lay on the shelf. She brought it to her wrists and pulled the sharp, metal object across her skin.

Cringing in pain, she looked away. Seeing herself in the mirror for the last time. Her pink hair was dull and messy and her emerald eyes no longer held the spark that the used to.

Guilty, guilty I feel so

empty, empty you know how to make me feel

Sasuke Uchiha ran. He was tired of running away. Tired of running away from the truth. Only this time he wasn't running away from anything. He was running towards something. He was finally going home. He had completed his goal, to avenge his clan and kill Itachi Uchiha. He was finally coming back to the people he truely cared for, but there was one person in particular.

Sakura Haruno. Would she still love him? Would she still care?

Would she accept him?

Pushing those thoughts aside he started to speed up.

I put a shield upon you

I didn't mean to hurt you

I would have only poisoned your mind

never meant to make you cry

Sakura Haruno lay on the floor, in a puddle of blood. Her eyes were open and she was breathing, but only just. In a few more minutes her heart would stop beating and she would cease to exist.

She lay quietly, feeling numb all over and slowly her eyes fluttered closed and she died inside. With her last breathe she uttered three words.

You've been so thoughtless

I can see right through you

you used to be there for me

so don't you leave say goodbye

cause you have changed but so have I

Sasuke was running through the streets of Konoha. He rounded a corner and came to an abrupt halt. The front door of her house was slightly ajar. He opened it and walked up the stairs hearing the creaking of the floorboards. He opened the bathroom door at the top of the stairs and he froze at what he saw.

Her body on the floor and she was covered in blood. He dropped to his knees and he broke inside as he heard the last words she would ever say.

I never thought that the time and the distance

between us made you so much colder

i'll carry the world on my shoulders

"Im Sorry Sakura"
