Sealed Fate
"She WHAT?" Everyone in the dining hall cringed at the sudden burst from their leader.
"She left Forks, Brother."
"Did she take the child?"
"Yes, Brother."
'Brother' sighed. "Then we have no choice but to do that."
"…You don't mean…? B-But she's my child, Brother!"
"So it may seem. But, unfortunately, Renee had made the decision to exile herself from the group, taking the child with her. All of our children must be part of the cult. Renee doesn't seem to see this, so someone has to be punished. You do understand, don't you, Charlie, of what must be done?"
"…"
"…"
"…Yes, Brother."
"Then gather our brothers and we shall summon the beast who will eventually consume her soul."
"…Yes, Brother."
Somewhere in a gas station near Forks' exit were Renee and her five-year-old daughter, Bella. The two were just minding their own business, Renee counting her lucky stars that Bella had never questioned on why they were leaving Forks. To be honest, Renee didn't know herself. Maybe she just didn't like the idea of her (ex) husband being in a cult? Where will that lead Bella in the future? Speaking of Bella…
"Ehh? Bella? Where did you go, sweetie?"
…she appears to be lost somewhere.
Panicking, Renee looked everywhere in the store of the station, going as far as asking a kind gentleman to look into the mens' restroom just to find her missing child. Seeing that the child wasn't inside, Renee looked outside. Bella was nowhere in front, so Renee ran to the back of the station, only to stop dead in her tracks.
"Hm? Oh, hi, Mom. Want to meet my new friend?"
Bella's 'friend' gave a sinister grin, which went unnoticed by the child, to Renee.
"Nice to finally meet you…Renee."
