Author's Note: My little brother is watching episode 46 and 47 of the anime (the Hinata/Neji fight) and how he was analyzing her and such gave me the inspiration to write…just a quick little drabble because I don't feel ready to take on a full-sized oneshot for Neji and Hinata…
Disclaimer: Naruto I do not own
Summary: It was terrifying, how he could see into her.

She feels them.
They're on her again.
(the intruder; poised to pounce)
No, there is nothing physically touching her, nothing brushes against the lily-white skin that covers her form underneath the too-big clothing.
But it, the tingling in her belly and the bitterness that she tastes on her lips is more tangible than if he was simply running his fingers across her body.
Those eyes, they brush and rove across her being. Those white eyes that are so much like hers and yet so very different.
Wide and pupil-less, bright with knowing far beyond her years. The sliver of the moon that his eyes hold is enough to chase all thoughts of escaping away. They simply see too much, more than any eye should ever be able to see.
(he slips inside)
More often than not she feels them, digging into the deepest recesses of herself, bringing to the surface things that she would rather have buried in the deepest trenches of the ocean. It irked her to the point that nothing else seemed capable of doing.
She could feel him, inside of her head, reading everything.
And she wanted him out.
Out of her mind, out of her life even.
(nonono! she screams and cries)
He knows how to break her down like no other can, every string to pluck to make her sing the right tune.
Sometimes she fears that he knows her better than she knows herself, for he seems to take perverse pleasure in stating things about her that she doesn't realize she feels or worries about.
"Hinata. Stop crying."
(he has won again, he is forever in her head)
And she does, because even though she hates him sometimes, she'd do anything to keep him near her.
"Hai, Neji-nii."
(she loves the feeling of being watched)
