I woke up with medical light burning into my eyes.

"Ma'am, she waking up. Should I give her more sedative?" said a voice on my right.

"No," said a woman, "let her wake up. I want to ask her a few questions," I hear, "You are excused."

I heard steps, a door open, and then the slamming of the door.

I didn't want to be here. I didn't choose to be here in the first place. All I remember is that Gazzy, Fang, and I were down in some drainage pipes trying to save thousands of people's lives. It didn't really work out the way I had planned it. We never had time to discharge the bomb, so we made a run for it.

I was so close to the end of the tunnel. I really was! I could see the light, and I saw that Fang and Gazzy were out. I just didn't make it out..

A voice interrupted my thoughts, "Angel?"

I open my eyes wider to see a middle aged woman with blond hair with brown highlights. She had gray eyes and french manicured hands that were holding a clip board and pen.

"Who are you?" I say dully.

"My name is Rachel Firdo. I am part of a team of highly trained scientists who are giving there times of studies to documenting 2% avian-human people," she said with pure authority.

I glare at her for a moment, "Scientists you say?"

"Yes, scientists."

"Alright then," I say, "then I'm totally out of here."

I jumped onto my feet and ran towards the door. It was painful but worth it.

"ANGEL COME BACK HERE!" I hear Rachel scream.

I keep running. Down one hallway, take a left turn, then down another one.

I turn into a certain hallway and I stop in my tracks. Standing in front of me are snarling, drooling, ugly wolf faced men.

Erasers.
