From a distance the hunter drew up his arch and prepared to shoot. His prey stood oblivious to the dangers it was in. And just as he was about to release the arrow a magnificent sight was beheld. The animal with wings of white gold and legs shaped liked hooves transformed...into a naked brunette, awake and fearful of the hunter before them. "Merlin!" The blond archer yelled in relief. "Its really you!"
"Oh Arthur I was trying so hard to escape." Merlin cried as Arthur took him into his arms and just held him, offering nothing but comfort. Then Merlin reached up and kissed Arthur's cheek.
"Who did this to you Merlin?" Arthur whispered, lingering fingers trailing their way down, the brunette's high pale cheeks.
Merlin shuddered and took a breath. "It was Nimueh. Shortly after I had fled the palace I was found by her. My first thought is that she would take care of me because she seemed so nice. But then she turned against me and turned me into that creature."
"Oh, Merlin..." And Arthur lifted his chin and kissed him gently.
"And then she said, 'Now you can never fulfill your destiny.'"
"Did you ever found out what she meant by that?"
"Not a clue, but I'm guessing Ill find out in the future. At least I escaped right?" Merlin grinned and as looked up into the blue orbs that gazed lovingly at him, he guessed that Arthur felt the same.
"Shall we head back to Camelot then?"

Author's Note: So this was a really short and fluffy oneshot. It's actually based on the plot of Swan Princess when Derek finds out that the horrible swan creature is actually Odette. I don't know I just got inspired from it. A review would much appreaciated. :P
