The Three Emerald Pools

PoolClan is an isolated Clan living in Zion National Park. In her belief in StarClan, it is Plumkit's wish to regroup with other Clans. There's only one problem. They live in Emerald Pool Canyon and leaving will be hard and brutal. Will Plumkit and the rest of PoolClan make the journey or will death come to scoop them up like no cat has ever seen? (will probably never update)

1. Chapter 1

Wildtail gazed along the three Emerald Pools. The place where the Clan achieved its name. Wildtail is an ordinary warrior of PoolClan. He was on a solo hunt for his own fun. He made his way along the side of the first pool. Small fish darted from his shadow. Wildtail laughed as he didn't consider himself to be a scary tom.

He ducked under a tree and discovered a quail. Wildtail dropped into a crouch and crept forward slowly. He stopped moving a couple mouse-tails away to pounce. His strong legs pushed him into the air and he landed on the quail and quickly ended its life.

Wildtail picked it up and took the long trip back to a little overhang which marked the nursery. He dropped the quail in front of his mate, Paleleaf, who was nursing her newborn kits. Paleleaf looked up and nuzzled Wildtail who stifled a purr of delight.

"Thank you," Paleleaf purred. "Hey," Wildtail mewed. "It's no problem!" Wildtail left the nursery to do his other jobs. He was so busy! Her two kits snuggled together. She had named the little tom, Dustkit, and the tiny she-kit, Plumkit. A large tan tom-cat walked in and said hello and then nuzzled his pregnant mate, Redflower. "Where have you been?" she asked. "I've been busy," the large tom muttered. "Archstar!" she complained. "You almost never see me!" "I'm sorry," Archstar awkwardly muttered and then he left.

PoolClan:

Leader: Archstar- pale tan tom with amber eyes

Deputy: Rockweed- skinny gray tom with a bony thin furred tail; yellow eyes

Medicine Cat: Greenshade- black she-cat with deep green eyes; mentor to Craterpaw

Warriors:

Wildtail- pale red tom with a bushy tail; yellow eyes

Sunfire- light ginger she-cat with green eyes; mentor to Sandypaw

Rushstream- gray tom with green eyes

Smoketail- white tom with a gray wispy tail, blue eyes

Cactusclaw- dusty gray tom with long claws; green eyes

Frogflight- dusty gray tom with a stubby tail; yellow eyes; mentor to Cougarpaw

Pinefrost- deep brown she-cat with green eyes

Brightflame- black she-cat with bright orange stripes

Bloomberry- deep gray she-cat with a bright pink nose; blue eyes

Apprentices:

Craterpaw- deep gray tom with a pink nose; blue eyes; apprentice medicine cat

Cougarpaw- fawn tom with amber eyes

Sandypaw- fawn she-cat with a gray spot on her forehead; blue eyes

Queens:

Paleleaf- pale brown she-cat with green eyes; mother to Dustkit and Plumkit

Redflower- pale red she-cat with green eyes; expecting kits

Kits:

Dustkit- pale red tom with deep brown spots; yellow eyes

Plumkit- gray and white she-kit with yellow eyes

Elders:

Cavefang- pale gray tom with sharp teeth; yellow eyes

Pebbledust- white she-cat with pale gray speckles; blue eyes
