One day, Peach was standing on the sidewalk looking in the "Adopt A Pet" center wondering which kitten Daisy would like.
She was thinking a maybe kitten with a little "sassy" attitude, because Daisy can be that way sometimes!
So Peach went inside and looked at the pets all around.
All the animals were barking and chirping, meowing, and squeaking!
Until finally, a little kitten with big hazel eyes, orange and black fur, and fluffy fur looked up at Peach.
It meowed, and Peach reached down to pet her, and the kitten batted her hand away.
Peach thought "This kitty has a sassy attitude and is cute! This is the one!"
So Peach got the store clerk and told her to get the cat out for her and put it in a cage.
After that, she bought food bowls, kitty litter, a litter box, and a brush.
So she walked home, and gave Daisy the cat.
When Daisy saw her (the cat) she screamed and was so happy!
Daisy named the cat "Pumpkin" cause it looked like a Halloween cat!
