Summary: Uzumaki Naruto didn't want to enter Duel Academy. He didn't want his Godfather, Pegasus, to build him a custom deck based on his past. And he certainly didn't want to have the title of prodigy. But there is one thing he does want. And that's to be the best Duelist in the world. Naruto/Asuka pairing.

Chapter 1: Beginning Of A Legend
Naruto groaned for what must have been the thousandth time that day. He was cursing Pegasus, his godfather, to the pits of hell for making him do this. The blonde ninja cursed his luck. Why...WHY DID HE HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL?!
"Fuck you Pegasus..." the Uzumaki grumbled. He was sitting in the stands, waiting to be called for the test duel, so he could flunk the exam on purpose, and go back to watching TV. He vaguely noticed someone sit next to him, but didn't really pay attention. He was focused on the duel that was before his. He scanned the field.
The one taking the exam had Vorse Raider (Beast-Warrior/Earth/Lv 4/1900-1200) on the field in attack mode with a single face down, with 4 cards in his hand, along with 3200 life points. The teen himself had black hair, slicked back, pointing behind him. He wore the usual grey uniform, and was smirking at the tester.
The tester seemed to be in the better position. He had 2 monsters in defense mode, both with over 2000 defense points, with no face down cards. But it was the black haired boy's turn.
"You got 2 choices here kid," the examiner said. "Throw in the towel, or wait till next turn so I can win."
"I choose instead to win," the teen smirked before fliping over his face down card.
"A trap?!" The examiner exclaimed.
"Yes, and a dangerous one. Ring of destruction lets me select one monster in attack mode and destroy it, and then deal damage to both players equal to the monster's attack points." As he spoke, the ring appeared around Vorse Raider's neck. "And with your 1200 life points...well, your out of luck." Vorse Raider exploded, decreasing the examiner's life points to 0, and leaving the boy with 1300.
"Well, you performed admirably. Welcome to the academy," the examiner congratulated.
The boy gave a slight bow. "I thank you, most wise examiner." A few people clapped in respect for the new student.
Naruto nodded. "Good strategy...he played it safe, taking as little damage as possible, so that he could get the examiner with Ring of destruction to end it."
The person beside him nodded, and he glanced over, surprised to see an Obelisk Blue student. "Yeah, if he doesn't get into Obelisk, he'll definitely be in Ra." The person speaking was a girl, a very hot girl. She had blonde hair, beautifully slicked back, and had gorgeous brown eyes. Her shirt was clinging tightly to her body, showing her breasts to be huge. She wore an incredibly short skirt that just barely covered her ass.
Naruto quickly looked away from her mature body. He was not going to suffer the same fate Ero-Sennin had so many times before. He forced himself to look at her face and held out his hand. "Uzumaki Naruto."
The girl shook his hand and gave a small smile. "Tenjoin Asuka."
"How long have you been going to Duel Academy?" He asked.
"Joined up last year," she told him. "How old are you?"
"16, turning 17 next month." He told her.
"From your tone you don't sound like you want to come to duel academy. Is there a reason why?"
Naruto sighed. "My god father made me join, against my will."
"Who's your god father?" She asked with a raised brow.
"It's-" he began, but was cut off by an announcement.
"Would Uzumaki Naruto please make his way to Duel Field 2?"
Said blonde stood up. "I'll tell you later. Cheer for me." He walked past her, sliding on his Duel Disk, and walked to Duel Field 2.
The person he was facing had red hair and blue eyes, wearing glasses. "Be ready young man, I won't hold back."
"But of course," Naruto said, activating his duel disk. They both drew 5 cards. "Now lets duel!"
Naruto- 4000
Examiner- 4000
"I'll make the first move," the examiner said. "I draw!" He drew a card from the deck and observed his hand. "I activate the field spell, A Legendary Ocean!" The arena filled with the holographic water, and an ocean palace rose up. "Now, all WATER attributed monsters gain 200 attack points, and have their levels lowered by one while in the hand and on the field. In addition to that, it's treated as Umi while face up on the field." He looked over his hand. "I summon 7-Colored Fish (Fish/Water/Lv4/1800-1200) in attack mode!" A large Fish appeared, all 7 colors of the rainbow running along its body. "And because of A Legendary Ocean it's power rises to 2000!" The fish let out a kind of screech as it's power rose. "Now I'll throw a card face down and end my turn." 'Sorry kid, but you won't be passing this year,' he thought. 'My face down card is mirror force, so anything you summon will be destroyed. Then next turn, I'll summon Legendary Fisherman. Following, my Heavy Storm will take out the field, then I'll activate Umi to power up my monsters and win."
"My move then," Naruto drew a card and looked over his hand, before a smirk played on his lips. "To start off my turn, I summon Last Uchiha- Sasuke (Shinobi/Fire/Lv 4/ 1600-1000) in attack mode!" A burst of flames appeared, and out of it walked a young boy. He wore a collar high blue shirt, with a fan symbol on the back, with white shorts and black, oddly crafted sandals. He had black hair, suspiciously shaped like a ducks ass. "Then I activate the equip spell card, Orochimaru's Curse Seal!" A pale face hovered in the air, before moving to the boy and biting his neck, then disappearing.
Sasuke roared in pain as strange tomoe shaped markings spread along his body. "With that, Sasuke's attack and defense rises by 500." Sasuke got a sadistic grin as his power rose, which made some people in the audience shudder. "Next I'll play the spell card, Uchiha Massacre!" They were surrounded by lots of buildings, and the full moon appeared above on a starry sky. Screams of agony were heard, which made everyone queasy. "With this card, I can pay 1000 life points to special summon a certain monster from my deck." As his life points decreased, screams were heard throughout the houses. "I summon! Akatsuki Spy- Uchiha Itachi (Shinobi/Fire/Lv6/ 2600-1900)!"
As soon as the card appeared, Sasuke glared at Itachi, growling. "Not now Sasuke!" Naruto told him, and Sasuke, though reluctant, turned back to the battle. "Now I'll activate my next spell card. Tsukuyomi." Both Itachi and Sasuke's eyes glowed red. "I can only use this card if I control a face up monster with 'Uchiha' in it's card name. But with it, I can now send one card in your hand to the graveyard, and destroy one of your spell or trap cards on the field." The card on the far left in the examiner's hand disappeared, and the face down exploded. His face grew worried, but the Uzumaki just grinned. "If you thought I was done, your dead wrong." He flipped a card in his hand before playing it. "I activate another spell."
"Another?!" The examiner exclaimed.
"Oh yes," Naruto grinned. "This little card is called Betrayal. By sacrificing Last Uchiha- Sasuke while he's equipped with Orochimaru's Curse Seal, then I can special summon a new monster from my deck." A purple energy swirled, engulfing Sasuke, before an older version of him walked out, wearing a zipped high collar white shirt, black pants that tightened around the ankles, the same shoes, and a large black cloak over his body. His left eye was red and had 3 tomoe spinning in it, and his right eye was also red, but had a ripple effect along it, with 3 tomoe on each ring. Several of the girls blushed at the appearance of the monster. "Meet my friend. Indra Reborn- Uchiha Sasuke (Shinobi/Fire/Level 7/ 2900-1700). And now I activate his effect. Once per turn, by discarding a card from my hand, I can remove one face up monster on the field from play." Sasuke's right eye glowed red, and a dark smirk came onto his face. "Go Sasuke! Chibaku Tensei!" The earth rose around, and the 7 Colored Fish let out a yell as it rose into the sky and was trapped in a large orb of stone.
"B-But now I'm wide open!" The examiner exclaimed in panic.
"I know," Naruto grinned. "Go Itachi! Tsukuyomi!" Itachi's eyes glowed a ghostly silhouette appeared and stabbed the examiner with a sword, causing him to stumble back and his life points to drop. "Now Sasuke, finish the job! Chidori!" Sasuke held out his hand, and it screeched with blue lightning as he charged and thrust it into the examiner's stomach. He leapt back once the job was done.
Naruto - 3000
Examiner - 0 (-1500)
Everyone around was in stunned silence at what the blonde had done. A one turn win?! Not even 'Kaiser' had been able to do that on his entrance exam. Naruto chuckled taking his cards and slapping them back in his deck as the holograms vanished. "It wasn't much." He walked away, smirking ever so slightly. This small action would get Naruto a fan club throughout the school.
Naruto sat down next to Asuka. "Sorry about leaving. How was the duel?"
Asuka nodded, still in shock. "You won in a single move. Not even Kaiser could do that. And I've never heard of the Shinobi type before."
Naruto scratched the back of his head. "My godfather insisted I needed a custom deck, even though I refused."
"Who's your godfather that he could get you a custom deck?" Asuka wondered aloud.
"Eh? I thought it'd be obvious," the blonde said in genuine shock. "My godfather is Crawford J. Pegasus."
Asuka reeled back in shock. "Your godfather is Pegasus?! The creator of duel monsters?!"
Naruto chuckled. "Yep!"
Asuka blinked then giggled. "Lucky you," she looked and saw a few more Obelisk Blue girls. "Look, my friends are waiting for me. I'll see you later." She got up and walked away.
"Later," Naruto waved with a smile. He leaned back in his chair and hummed...then blinked and yelled out. "I FORGOT TO LOSE ON PURPOSE!"
