Some people appeared in my basement today. They dressed funny; one of them, I think, was Asian.
They're pretty nice! Their names are Edward, Alphonse, Winry, and Ling. I like those names!

I went with them to get them some new clothes today. Mom and Dad didn't mind, Mom even lent me her credit card, since I don't have much money. Mom and Dad get along with the new people pretty well. Edward even fixed Mom's favorite vase! It looks so much better now!

I couldn't sleep, so I went back downstairs, and strangely, Alphonse was awake! He explained why, but it's a secret. So I can't tell you! Winry's pretty cool. She knows so much about mechanics, she even fixed my DS for me! Thank you so much Winry!

We celebrated my birthday today, I'm now fifteen! That's how old Edward and Ling are. My friends Karen and Crystal came over and met the others. They get along pretty well!

Some more people showed up in my basement. They attacked me, so I don't like them very much. The others seem to know them. Their names are Envy and Greed. Why are they named after deadly sins? Envy left bruises on my neck, so now I'm wearing a scarf to hide it. I don't want to make Envy feel guilty.

My art teacher had us draw our families today on Edmodo, for whatever reason, so I drew, Mom, Dad, Ling, Alphonse, Edward, Winry, Envy, Greed, and me. I showed it to them after school, but Envy ripped it! I don't know why. Does he hate me?
July 13th, XXXX (4:20 a.m.)
I keep having nightmares about Envy. Sometimes even Edward and Ling, where they were killed. Envy kills me in my nightmares. I told Alphonse, and he promised to protect me. I still don't feel safe.
July 25th, XXXX (6:30 p.m.)
The nightmares got worse, so I stopped leaving my room. Mom and Dad are worried. So are Alphonse, Edward, Ling, and Winry. Envy and Greed don't seem to care.
Ah, I think that's Ling bringing me dinner. I'll be right back.
August 14th, XXXX (11:49 a.m.)
School starts tomorrow. I'm scared that when I leave for school in the morning that Envy will attack me, or that he'll attack me on the way to the bus stop. I'm scared.

Mom and Dad said that they were leaving on a trip tomorrow morning. Please don't leave me alone with them, Mom. Please?

Mom and Dad haven't come back yet. Ling told me it would be alright, but I don't believe him. I'm scared.

Someone came by and told me my parents died in a plane crash. I couldn't believe it. I cried for hours after that, Envy just laughed at me. Winry cried with me.

"The rest of this is covered in her blood..." Ling trailed off, holding the now bloodied diary in his hands. "Why, Sharon? What happened in this last sentence?"
