This is a sequel to Crime on Deaf Ears. I highly doubt this will make sense unless you have read Crime on Deaf Ears.
Melody's Pov.
The team decided to have a Halloween party and that's how I found myself shopping for costumes. Don't take me wrong I love Halloween, but between Lidia and Greg I felt like I was running after at least ten kids. I was looking at an Indian costume when Lidia and Greg came running up behind me each holding 50's Grease costumes. Lidia was holding a Frenchy costume and Greg had a Danny costume in one hand and a Sandy costume in the other. I might not have been so hesitant if it hadn't been the costume from the end of the movie.
I took a deep breath and signed.
"I guess you picked your costumes and mine."
When I received two nods we headed to cash register. Eventually I actually thought it was king d of cute we would all have costumes from the same movie.
The day of the party was very long with every one getting their costumes. Each team member was to bring a snack and Lidia was bring green punch and Linsey was bringing red. We had decided to have the party at Nick and Sara's who had recently moved in together.
When we arrived I was surprised to see everyone was dressed up including Grissom. Nick was a cowboy and Sara was a cowgirl. Warrick's was a 70's costume. Catherine was Alice of wonderland and some how she convinced Grissom to be the cowardly lion. Lindsey was CSI wearing one of Catherine's old vests. Last but not least Jim was a police man. We complemented each others we ate and decide to play a game.
I asked.
"What game are we going to play?"
Everyone thought for a second and Nick turned to Catherine.
"Do you have twister?"
I thought Nick had gone crazy, but Catherine went upstairs and brought twister down. Grissom quickly called being the spinner, but Jim also wanted to. Finally I decided for them.
"Jim you spin and Grissom you sign for Lidia so she can play."
Everyone agreed so we started to play. Warrick and I were the first ones out. Catherine was good along with Nick who accidentally bumped into Lindsey sending them both to the along with Cath. Then it was just Greg, Lidia, and Sara it was hard to tel the kids from the adults since all three were acting like children. Greg went to move knocking him and Lidia down. Then Sara fell from playing twister for close to an hour. In the end we all had fun and no one got hurt playing twister even though I'm sure a few of us would be sore for a week.
