Alice Carter was getting ready for work at Dommer's Range, it is a restaurant that was twenty miles away from her little cottage where she was living. She been living there for a year and her parents had kicked her out when she was eighteen and she was still in high school, she was now nineteen and she had one year to go an then she was thinking of going to college or to a tech that was somewhat close to where she lived. She only had three neighbors' by her, but they where pretty far away from her. The house had trees around the place and there was a little stream next to the house. She got the cottage for a good price and two days after she had gotten the house she went looking for a job and she had applied at different places and Dommer's Range had first called her back, telling her that they needed a waitress, So Alice had gotten the job. She was now running around the place to get ready. She had to be at work in thirty minutes and she had just combed her auburn hair and was now brushing her teeth. She worked mostly at night and some late afternoons after school and today she had to work nights. Once in awhile they made her work in the morning, but it was busier in the late afternoon and at night .Right now she had a light blue shirt on and white tight pants to go with it and black shoes. She went back to the bathroom and put some make-up on her face and also lined her green eyes with black eye liner. The place wasn't that good looking, but Alice liked to look her best when she is working. Some of her costumers', manly men, wanted hang out with her. She ignored them like always. When she got finally gotten ready she grabbed her bag and car keys and went outside in her green jeep. She saw on the clock saying 4:45. She was to be there at six.
