Alright! My first one-shot story! Please review!
Merrill's Secret Garden
The young dalish elf Merrill woke up to the beautiful sight of the eluvian.
"What a beautiful day" Merrill said moving her hand easily through her short black hair. Her large green eyes scanned the room checking everything was still there. After getting dressed she went outside to the alienage market. "Morning sunshine! How are you?" A merchant asked.
"I'm quite fine Merrill responded looking in her store. "I didn't know the alienage had a Garden store." Merrill said surprised. The store was stocked with fertiliser, seeds and pots!
"It didn't but when I saw all the other stalls I decided to open one." The merchant told her.
"What good idea the alienage needs more green and brown and blue and… I'm babbling aren't I?"
"Ha well would you like to buy something?" the merchant asked gesturing to the stall.
"Sure how much for fertiliser, five pots, and seven seeds?" Merrill asked
"five silvers and ten coppers."
"alright I can afforded that"
as Merrill finished setting up her pots it started to rain. "Elgar'nan! Why can't I fix those stupid holes!"Merrill said as the rain poured in over her hair. Getting out from under the hole Merrill started grabbing her pots and setting them under the leaking spots of the into her room she moved towards the eluvian. As she got closer Merrill noticed a little door behind it."hmm? when did that get there?"she said moving the the door she crawled through to find a perfect place for her new garden.
"my I should move my plating things in there."Merrill said then crawled back through.
A little while after she had finished she heard a knock on the front door. Moving the eluvian back to it's normal place Merrill scrambled to the front door."Oh Hello hawke how are you?"
"hello Merrill I'm fine I just came by to visit" hawke said kissing her forehead then walking in. Merrill admired him as he moved over to a chair and sat down. I must be the luckiest elf in this world! Hawke is so handsome and kind and a wonderful mage Merrill thought. Snapping back to reality Merrill moved over to where hawke was sitting.
"How are you at gardening?" Merrill asked. Hawke laughed, he had a very nice laugh that always seemed to light up the entire room.
"I'm horrible with plants, I think they die at my touch."Hawke said still laughing.
"Oh plants don't die at your touch!"Merrill said.
"Merrill you take thing way to literally. Anyway I think it's a good idea for you to start a garden."hawke said smiling. Does he ever stop smiling Merrill Thought smiling back."well I guess i'll get going then"hawke said pulling merrill close and giving her a kiss. Merrill cuddled close to his heart for a moment after the kiss. letting go she said goodbye for now and watched him leave. still smiling she thought Maybe I'll show him soon but for now it will be mine. My secret garden.
