Two Hobbits were walking one day

Determined and ready were they

They asked, "Where is Gondor?"

To them: "Beyond Mordor."

They nodded and headed away.

A horrible creature then screamed

Lamenting about a gold ring

Said the fat Hobbit, "Shut it!"

Moaned the creature, "Forget it!"

Cried the other one, "Hurry, let's leave!"

The fish and the veggies were fried

But the creature complained and he cried

He preferred his fish raw

And the Hobbits soon saw

That the creature was not on their side.

Closer and closer they trekked

Exhausted and hungry and sick

They had lost all their food

They were in a bad mood

Gollum nearly got stabbed in the neck.

Soon both Hobbits started to fight

Frodo stormed off into the night

He almost became dinner

For a hungry web-spinner

Sam saved him with all his might.

The Hobbits were nearing their fate

The audience just could not wait

And as Frodo ran

Closely followed by Sam

We kept holding our breath at a bait.

They were limping and staggering now

While the battle raged on in the south

When they dropped to their knees

And their pain would not ease

The audience kept asking: "How?"

At last they had come to the end

The creature to his death they did send

And as Gollum fell

The gold ring did as well

When it sank, it did not even bend.

Our heroes were now nearly dead

Their faces were blotchy and red

But then in flew the eagles

They forgot about Smeagol

And Nazgul, and pain, and…

woke up…

in…a…

bed…

Four Hobbits were walking one day

Unruffled and peaceful were they

As they said their goodbyes

The whole audience cried

And the big ship sailed on away.
