Chapter one.
The first day of school for everybody is really truly nervewrecking. As I walked onto the academy grounds, I saw that everyone was staring at me. "Uhm, can you help me find the principal's office?" I asked one of the students. His vest was blue and his undershirt was pink and his height was around 5'4', or below that. His eye's, I saw, were a light hazel and his hair was cut short. The boy agreed and he led me towards the building in the center of the academy.
"So, I'm guessing, you're new to Bullworth?" He stated rather then asked. "Yes. First time going to a really big private school." I said, moving out of people's way. He laughed. He led me upstairs and stopped when we cam to a trophy case. "Well thank you, uh-" "Peter Kowalski, but you can call me Petey." Petey smiled. "I'm Kezia Walker." "Well Kezia, I have to go. I'll see you later then?" I nodded and he left.
I walked up to the secretary, Miss Danvers. She looked up from her paperwork and raised her eyebrow. "Yes?" She asked. "I'm Kezia Walker. New student." She went back to her paperwork and opened a cabinet from behind the desk. "Here's your schedule." She handed it to me. "Your roommate will be here to assist you." I nodded and took a seat on the couch.
I sat there and watched kids go in and out of Dr. Crabblesnitch office. The bell rang and a freshman came out, her eye's were puffy and she help a paper. Expelled. It read. I frowned and a girl that wore a blue cheerleading outfit came walking in, asking Miss Danvers if 'she' was here. Miss Danvers nodded and pointed at me.
As we walked around the school, she told me her name was Mandy Wiles. "So, there are cliques \at this school. Be careful with what you say to or around people. If you want to rule this dump, stick with me." Mandy explained. I shrugged.
We went to the football field and we sat on the benches. "What kind of cliques? " I asked. "Greasers, Jocks, Preppies, Bullies, Nerds." She said waving at one of the football players. Number 27 waved back. "How odd. Are there any wars between any of them?" I asked interested. "Yeah, plenty. Well, ever since this kid Jimmy Hopkins enrolled." I thought for a second. "Whoa. Well, You can go have fun now, Mandy. I can just tell them you were great." She smiled and hugged me. "You're kind of cool, Kezia. I'll see you back at the dorm'"
I stood in front of the library's open doors, just staring at the entrance. Wondering if I go in… or not. Be classified as a Nerd my whole year? Whatever. I went in anyway. I didn't go in for the books. Just to look around. As I passed an aisle of books, a boy ran into me. His book smacked him right square in his face. He cursed and helped me up. "Sorry about that." I muttered. "You better me sorry." He said angrily and left. He dropped his book. I picked it up and looked at the title. 'Scorpions'? Never heard of it. I flipped through the pages and looked to were he walked off too.
