Author's Note:
OK, this story is just me re-writing the part in MR2 when Max and Sam kiss. I didn't think it lived up to its complete potential, so I'm writing it in a different way. Hope you like it, as it will only be a oneshot. Its what would have happened if Anne wasn't a lying backstabber and everyone lived happily ever after. It's kind of pointless, fluffy, and slightly humorous. My twist on happily ever after. This is my first story where I haven't killed the Flock, so enjoy. But it is very pointless and will probably never happen in the actual books.
Disclaimer: I don't own it. Never have. Never will.
Sam walked me up to my front door and turned to me.
"I had a great time tonight." He said, leaning in close to me. I wasn't so sure I liked Sam. After all, I was in love with Fang. Although he would probably never know. Sam's lips touched mine and I reached up to put my hands around his neck when the front door flew open.
"What the hell, dude?" I pulled away quickly from Sam and stared at the intruder: Fang. "Don't touch her!" Sam looked bewildered and glanced at me for an explanation. I had none. Fang continued talking. "Stay away from her! Don't try to kiss her. You don't deserve her." With that, Fang shoved Sam semi-hard and grabbed me around the waist. "I can't stand seeing anyone else kiss you but me." He explained and then smashed his lips against mine passionately. I was taken aback at first, but then ran my hands through his dark hair. I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck as we backed into the house, leaving Sam brokenhearted and confused on the front porch. I heard tiny gasps and giggles as we made our way up the stairs, still holding heavy. I heard someone coming down the hall in front of us and then Anne said,
"What in…" But then we were in my room, collapsed and kissing on the bed. I started unbuttoning my shirt and Fang pulled off his t-shirt.
"I love you," I whispered, leaning against his bare chest.
"I love you too," he said, planting kisses on my cheeks and nose. "And I'm sorry for ruining your date with Sammy Boy."
"Don't worry about it," I answered. "I only like the strong and silent type anyway. And he was neither." Fang smiled and kept kissing me. I pulled away for a quick breath and he whispered "I love you"'s in my ear. We continued this into the late hours of the night…
FANG'S POV
In the morning I woke up with Max clinging to me for dear life, staring into my eyes.
"I love you," Was the first thing out of her mouth. I smiled. It was so nice to hear those words that I had been waiting for for years. She kissed me lightly and I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her on top of me.
"I love you, too." I said for the millionth time in the last 9 hours.
8 MONTHS LATER/FANG'S POV
I watched Max come down the aisle of the small cave we were being married in. We had run away from Anne's and the perfect life, not wanting to feel trapped. Iggy had taken preaching courses online and become a licensed priest, since we couldn't afford a real one. Our only audience was the Flock. Max kept walking, wearing her jeans and a t-shirt. But she still looked beautiful to me. She reached me finally and I grabbed her outstretched hand. After the vows, Max and I flung ourselves off the cave edge and flew until we reached a beach; where we kissed until it felt as if our lips would fall off. But it didn't matter. I was married to Max. Just like I had always wanted. She would be mine forever and ever. Happily ever after.

So there you go. My take on what I think should've happened, but am glad didn't. This was my first oneshot, so please tell me if it rocked/sucked. R&R!
