A/N: Hey fellow fanfiction readers. Today I've decided to give myself what I consider the ultimate challenge – A wrestling fic. Keep in mind I highly doubt I would write a match as I haven't seen wrestling enough to know what's going on, I'm just an avid wrestling gamer at heart. And also, since I know wrestlers mainly by their ring names, I will refer to them as such, the exception being Mr. Kennedy, whose real name will be used.

Brief Summary: On a cold night in Green Bay, Ken Anderson is paid a surprise visit by WWE Executive Global Media president, Shane McMahon. What does this hold for Ken? Read and see!

Ken Anderson sighed, looking at his watch. It was 8 pm US Central time in his hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin on July 30, 2009. (1)

"Damn it…normally I'd be competing in the ring right now…How dare those fools that operate WWE release MISTER….KENNEDY!!!!!" Ken thundered, doing his trademark in-ring announcement of yelling his ring name to the crowd.

He looked at his trophy case, gazing fondly at his 2007 WWE US Championship, wishing he weren't released from his WWE contract so he could work towards the 2009 championship.

Then suddenly, Ken heard the soft humming of a limousine pulling up in front of his mansion. (2)

"Who could that be, at this hour?" Ken wondered, as he approached the door just in case this was some sort of planned backstage assault.

As any WWE Superstar, current or former would know, it was not uncommon for one superstar to use surprise attacks on another as part of a storyline.

Ken knew this, having worked with Randy Orton in an unsuccessful attempt to prevent Chris Jericho from winning the 2008 WWE Championship. (3)

A figure approached his door, calmly ringing his doorbell.

Ken walked to the door, opening it his eyes then widening in surprise seeing it was WWE Executive Global Media president, Shane McMahon.

"Hello, Ken." Shane greeted curtly.

Ken smiled. "Hey Shane. To what do I owe this visit?" He asked.

Shane smirked, walking inside, sitting down on Ken's couch.

Ken arched an eyebrow and shut the door as he followed him inside.

"I know you were unfairly released from WWE…" Shane spoke.

"Yeah, what of it?" Ken grumbled.

Shane smiled. "I've come here to give you another chance. I have a contract here to join RAW with me. Whattya say?" He offered.

Ken grinned, but it quickly faded. "I don't know Shane; I mean I haven't competed in over 2 months…"

Shane gave him a somewhat understanding look. "You have nothing to lose, Ken." He assured.

Ken smirked. "Guess your right. I accept your offer. MISTER….KENNEDY is back!!!"

Approximately 2 months after Ken left WWE in real life.

This is clearly assumption on my part.

This was based on the Road to Wrestlemania Story mode for Chris Jericho in RAW VS Smackdown 2009.
