After a long day I plopped onto the bed just in time to hear," Go outside and help your father, Lily." I groaned and went outside. The sun shone down. I loved it out here; especially the barn. The middle of nowhere with nothing to lose. After helping dad with chores I started toward the house.
Out of thin air I bump into something. I stopped and looked, but nothing was there. All of a sudden a man with crazy brown hair stepped out of nowhere, like an invisible door had opened and he stepped out.
" Who are you" I said.
"Oh, I thought I was alone. Well then, I'm the Doctor. Nice to meet you." He looked a little flustered and he started to walk away.
" Excuse me, but where on earth do you think you're going? And you haven't even asked for my name." I questioned.
" Yes well, not much time to talk, kind of a dalek invasion thing going on and I'm a little tied up. But if I have to, What's your name." He said quickly and reached for a shake. I took his hand and said," Lillian Halt."
"well Lily, you wanna help?" He poked me in the side.
" Sure" I said unenthusiactectly.
" okay then, where are we?"
"Middlesburg Tennessee. The middle of nowhere."
"Great, one thousand miles from where we need to be."
"WOAH! I'm not paying that airplane bill." I said backing up.
" No need to, we have this." He pressed a button and a big blue police box appeared.
