my new story, i know this chapter is amazingly short, but it's only the prologue. I promise the proper chapters will be longer.
Summary; Bella and Edward are the best of friends and she's been in love with him since she can remember, but when she convinces him to audition on X factor, he forgets about her on his way to stardom and leaves her broken hearted.

One, just one, mistake wrecked my life. My mistake. My fault. The words rang round my head like a continuos echo, repeating itself over and over. I changed him, I did this to him. The only person to blame was me.
I guess it was expected, we never worked, I never understood why he stayed around, but I was unconditionally grateful. Although we were like beauty and the beast, him being the beauty of course, we looked after each other and were always there for eachother. We were together constantly, people who didn't know us would think we were a couple, I wish.
Believe me, Nothing hurts more than realizing he meant everything to you, but you meant nothing to him, him leaving me and acting like he never knew me is enough proof to make that statement true.
I always thought he was better than what he bacame; power went to his head I guess. Everything he never wanted; attention, popularity, adoration; now he can't live without it. I don't miss him, I miss who he used to be.
He used to be so laid-back, so sweet, so kind, so gorgeous, so funny, so smart and so… perfect. And that's the reason I fell in love with my beast of an ex best friend.
Once again, i know it very short.
