Hank knew. He knew without a shadow of a doubt that his brother-in-law was the man he'd been searching for. How Walt could live with himself, he had no clue. But there was one thing for sure- Walter White was going down, and it would be Hank himself who would bring the mastermind criminal and killer to his knees.

The first thought that came across his mind was- how could Walt do that to him, to his family, to himself? How could he possibly live with himself knowing that he was responsible for the deaths of at least ten people, possibly more? What in the world had he been thinking?

Did Walt really think that he could get away with this? Hank had always considered Walt a pretty together guy, smart and a good provider for his family. But for him to betray Hank, to betray his own family in the way that he did, well, that went beyond unconscionable. That was the problem; Walt had no conscience anymore. He'd crossed a line, from which there was no turning back.

Walt had been many things in Hank's eyes, but a killer? The thought had never crossed his mind. Well, there had been one time where the initials WW as a suspect came to his mind, and Hank had even teased Walt about it. But the signs were all there, and now with the Whitman book in his hands, there was no doubt in his mind that he had found the killer.

What was he to do? What could he do? There was no way he could keep this secret, not for very long anyhow. His wife was already suspecting that something was wrong. If she found out about Walt then all hell would break loose. She would tell Skylar, and who knew what would happen then. Then there were the kids to think about. He had to get those kids, his own niece and nephew, as far away from that lunatic as possible. But how could he do it without raising suspicion from Walt, that was the question.

So many options, but the one that Hank liked the best simply wasn't an option. He would have loved to put his hands around Walt's neck and show him how he felt about the position he had put him in. But to take another's life, well, that wasn't Hank. He was a man of the law, and there were processes that needed to be followed. How this would all play out was anyone's guess.

He stared at the pictures in his garage, wondering how on earth he could put things together legally in order to make sure that Walter White never saw the light of day again. Suddenly, Hank looked up and saw that he had a visitor. It was him. Heisenberg.

He had no idea how this would play out, but as he stared at the man he'd once considered his best friend, he knew that there would be no turning back, not now. Too much was at stake, if he were to make even the slightest of errors.

But all logic be damned, Hank had found his man and now it was time for Walter White to pay. And pay he would, if that was the last thing Hank did.

After his confrontation with Walt, Hank realized that bringing Walt to justice just might be the very last thing he did. But there were no other options; Walter was going down, one way or the other.

The end
