A/n I do not in any way shape or form own "beetlejuice."

"I do," just those little words, that's all it took. Then I was his, and he was out. I pulled a bit at the red dress he had conjured. It was pretty, but extremely itchy and uncomfortable. Taking a glance back at Adam and Barbra, I nod. I couldn't let them be exercised, so taking a step towards Beetlejuice, I brace myself.

The preacher (alien?) went through the ceremony. Then he asked for the ring, and when beetle pulled out a whole rotten finger I almost backed out. (What happened to the owner of said finger, I have no clue.) He pulled the ring off and slipped it onto my own. I waited for the next line, getting even more nervous as he said "I do. "Then the alien (I was sure it was an alien) asked "Lydia do you take this man to be your husband?" they both looked at me one expectant the other nervous. "Yes, I do." I say forcefully; looking over at beetle (as to not have to meet the alien's eye). He was giving me a strange look. I couldn't put it; maybe he was expecting me to protest? I had promised him this, and wasn't about to back out know.

I feel like my stomach is doing flips as I take a step towards Beetlejuice. The final verse is said "you may kiss the bride." I notice that he isn't about to make the first move so, reaching out and taking the lapels on his horrible red jacket; I pull him towards me and lean up on my toes closing the space between us. I wait a bit, and he doesn't respond.

Slowly I open my eyes, and meet his; I had never paid much attention to them before but up close, their kinda nice. Leaning back onto solid ground I take notice that his hands are on my shoulders; probably from me pulling him closer for the kiss. Curious I lean closer until my head rests against his chest, "THUD-THUD THUD-THUD," it worked! I look up into his face, he looks a bit like a fish with his mouth a gape. "So, what happens know?"
