Tsunade's dream
Chapter 1-The note
Alright chapter one. This is set right after Jiraiya's death. I always felt bad for Tsunade, she has lost so much her little brother Nawaki, her boyfriend Dan and now Jiraiya. So this fanfic is going to be about Naruto being there for Tsunade when no one else is. Also I changed a couple of things around so it will not be cannon.

Jiraiya had just passed away and Tsunade had just been told the horrible news. She had just called Naruto to her office, to tell him the terrible news.
With Naruto-
It was another normal, sunny day in konoha. Naruto was currently walking through the market district, towards the Hokage tower. Why would Tsunade be calling me all of the sudden. Nothing is going on right now… I better get there soon, I don't want to keep her waiting.Naruto started to sprint, towards the Hokage tower.
Naruto arrived at the tower in no time. When he entered the building, something did not seem right. Everyone was acting gloomy around him, as he walked by them. No one would look him in the face, everyone would try to distance themselves from him. What's going on, why is everyone acting so strange? He did not think about too long, since he knew, Tsunade does not like to be, kept waiting. Naruto walked up to Tsunade's office and knocked on her office door.
"Come in." A voice said. Naruto slowly opened the door and saw his teammates, all standing there. Sakura and his sensei, Kakashi were standing near the door. Why is everyone here? He walked into the room and noticed Tsunade looked completely worn-out.
"Hey Tsunade, what's this about?" He asked.
"Naruto, come have a seat." Tsunade's voice was very stern.
"Why? What's going on. Why do you look so different?" He asked. He could see Tsunade's eye liner was disordered and her clothes were dirty, as if she didn't care what she looked like.
"Naruto just come sit down!" Tsunade raised her voice, she was not in the mood.
"Alright fine." Naruto walked up to Tsunade's desk and sat down in front of her. Tsunade took a long, deep breath.
"Naruto I have some bad news." Tsunade's voice was as soft as it could be.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Jiraiya has just passed away." The words hit Naruto. For a moment there was only silence in the room. The only thing you could hear was the wind, which blew passed the window.
"What?" Naruto softly replied and immediately stood up.
"We have received word, he has been killed." Tsunade explained. Several thoughts were running through Naruto's mind all at once. This must be a nightmare, it has to be!He became light headed and could hardly hear a voice yelling his name.
"Naruto, Naruto, Naruto!" Tsunade constantly shouted his name. Naruto didn't want to hear it, he could not lose another person so close to him. It was too much to bear for him.
"Naruto!" Tsunade yelled one last time. He could not take it anymore.
"What!" He yelled. Naruto's voice, could be heard through the entire Hokage tower.
"I just want to know if you understand the situation." Tsunade asked. Naruto knew now that this was no nightmare, it was real life. He has lost yet another person that meant something to him. Someone more than just a teacher but a mentor, a father figure and someone that meant something truly to him. His sorrow slowly changed to anger. He raised his head and gripped his fist.
"I understand! What I don't understand, is where were you? You could have stopped him. He could still be here!" He yelled. He could feel his veins popping out of his body. He was furious.
"Naruto!" Shizune yelled, trying to calm him down.
"It's ok Shizune." Tsunade replied. She could understand why Naruto was livid.
"How can you just sit there, Tsunade!? What he meant to you." Naruto yelled. Tsunade closed her eyes and shook her head, back and forth. She did not want to hear any more of it.
"Naruto! He is gone and nothing can bring him back." Tsunade declared. Naruto felt like saying more but knew he shouldn't and calmed down. Everyone stayed silent and watched him. He turned around and walked past his teammates without a word. He opened the door and left the Hokage tower.
"Should I go after him?" Kakashi asked.
"No, it is better if he is left alone." Tsunade replied. "I would also like to be left alone right now, so please if everyone would leave." Team seven and Shizune exited Tsunade's office.
"Do you think Naruto will be ok?" Shizune asked. She was deeply worried about him.
"Don't worry Shizune, Naruto can handle this on his own." Kakashi replied. That reminds me, I have to take this note to him. Kakashi looked down at a small piece of paper.
With Naruto-
It was the evening and Naruto was sitting at a bench, by himself. He had just bought a Popsicle that Jiraiya used to buy him when they were training. All of the thoughts of Jiraiya could not leave his mind. He could feel tears running down his cheeks. Jiraiya meant more than anything to him.
Naruto could hear footsteps coming closer to him. He rubbed his face and pulled himself together. He looked up to see Kakashi walking out from the dark, towards him.
"Hi sensei, what do you want?" Naruto voice was low. Kakashi walked up to Naruto and pulled a small note out from his pocket.
"Hey Naruto, Jiraiya wanted me to give you this." He explained. Naruto looked up at Kakashi, confused.
"What is it?" Naruto asked.
"It's a note. Jiraiya wanted me to give you it, if he ever passed away." Kakashi placed the letter down, next to Naruto and sat down next to him.
"Why would he give you a note?" Naruto asked.
"He said that you would understand. He told me I was not allowed to read it, only you." Kakashi replied.
"Ok, thanks Kakashi." Naruto replied. He didn't really want to talk at a time like this.
"You ok Naruto?" Kakashi asked.
"Yea, I'm fine." Naruto replied.
"Ok, I will see you soon." Kakashi stood up and walked away, back into the darkness.
Naruto was left sitting next to the folded up letter. He looked down at the letter wondering what it would say. Naruto didn't move for the longest time, just him and a lamp light that flickered on and off in the darkness. Alright.
He stood up and grabbed the letter. He walked back towards his apartment, the entire time thinking about what the note would say.
Naruto arrived at his apartment and opened his door. He threw his clothes down on the ground and placed the note down on to his kitchen table. I really need to take a shower. Naruto walked into his bathroom. He entered his shower and turned the faucet on. A nice cold shower to take things of my mind. The cold water ran through Naruto's hair. He took a quick shower and was done in no time. He cleaned himself off and pulled his pajamas on over his body. He walked back into his kitchen.
He looked back at the note, lying idly on the table. He stared at the note for a second, wondering if he should open it. He sat down and grabbed it. He opened the paper and began to read the note.
If you are reading this Naruto it means I have passed away. I am sorry and I know how you must feel but understand this had to happen. I know you will make it through this, you are strong. I know you must be going through a lot right now but I must ask you a favor. I would like you to take care of Tsunade. Now I know what you're thinking, but if I am gone she has no one. No one to cheer her up or be there for her. Am not asking you to do everything for her, just try to cheer her up sometimes. Just think of all she has lost her little brother Nawaki and her boyfriend Dan. If you could find it in your heart and Naruto take care of her. This is the only thing I ask of you.
Naruto placed the letter back down on the table. He looked out his window, thinking about Tsunade. Jiraiya wants me to take care of Tsunade. She didn't appear like she missed him. Naruto thought about it, until the sun went down. He sat there, for an hour, just thinking about her.
He yawed and stretched his arms.I am so tired.Naruto stood up and walked over to his bed thinking about what Jiraiya said. He really didn't think Tsunade would shed a tear.
I am going back and revising this story. I have no idea how long it will take. Anyways thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed it.
