"I'm uncomfortable with the plan, Chuck," Morgan said as he paced back and forth. This day was going to be big, and he couldn't shake the nervous feeling he had.
"Plan? What plan? Buddy, this is absolutely normal, and therefore there is no plan," Chuck replied, trying to calm his best friend down.
"Then what have we been rehearsing for?"
Chuck was about to answer Morgan, when the door opened and Casey stuck his head in.
"You two ready?" He said.
"Yeah, we are. I'm just trying to get him to calm down," Chuck said, pointing to Morgan, who was now trying to think of something else to occupy his mind. Casey entered the room, and turned to Morgan.
"You better not be having second thoughts," he said, in a threatening tone.
"No! Of course not. This means too much to me to just give it all up!" Morgan said in his defense.
"Good. Because if you don't go through with this, or mess it up, I will end you. And it will be very, very painful." Casey said with a growl, then he exited the room. Morgan took a deep breath, and said,
"Well, I guess I better get going. Wish me luck?"
"Don't worry. You'll be fine. No, in fact, you'll be more than fine."
Morgan left the room, and headed down a few hallways, getting more anxious by the second. He began to hum the Imperial March to calm himself down, and he entered a large room. He walked to the back of it, and went on the stage, looking around. The room had dozens of stained glass windows, along the walls. It was filled with chairs, placed in orderly rows, with one aisle down the middle. The chairs were all filled, with all of his friends and family. A person was playing the piano softly in the background.
Chuck and Sarah then walked across the room towards Morgan, soon followed by Devon and Ellie, and then a few more of his close friends. Suddenly, the music shifted to a different tune, and Morgan looked down the aisle, to see that Casey and Alex had entered. They walked towards him, their steps in time with the music. As they reached the end of the aisle, Casey moved off to the side, and Alex joined Morgan onstage.
Seeing her in a white dress, her being there with him, and visualizing their future together, made Morgans head spin a little bit. As they turned to the preacher to say their vows, Morgan reached over and held Alex's hand. Realizing something, Morgan smiled.
He was no longer nervous.
