Chapter 1
One morning Camille Braverman was standing in the kitchen drinking her coffee when there was a knock on the door so she walks over to the door to answer it.
"Joel!" she greets happily
"uh, hey Camille." he says
"come on in." she says letting him in closing the door behind him
"so..what are you doing here Joel; It's good to see you." she tells him
"yeah, you too Cami." he says just kind of wondering around the kitchen nervously
"Joel..is..is everything alright?" Camille wonders
"yeah everything's fine." he tells her a little mystafied or like he is thinking about something in his head
"would you like to sit downand have some coffee or breakfast or something?" she asks him
"oh, no I'm good thanks." he tells her
"so how is Julia?" she wonders
"oh, uh she's good she's really good." he tells her
"oh well that's good we haven't seen her in a while so I was just wondering." Camille tells him
"yeah living together has really been great.
"that's great Joel, now why are you really here?" Camille wonders knowing what she thinks is going on
Joel just looks at her "okay I'm just gonna come right out and say it; Look I love Julia and she means the world to me." he tells her
"I know." she says softly then "I know." she says again strongly and a little louder
"I want to spend the rest of my life with her to have a family with her." he tells her
"so you came here to ask my permission to ask her to marry you?" she wonders
"uh, well yeah kind of; I think that's exactly how it goes." he tells her
"Joel..." she says placing her hand on his
Joel tenses up.
"you are old enough to make you're own decisions you don't need my permission to ask Julia to marry you because I know you and I love you and I know that you love her alot and I say yes I think you two are perfect for each other but Zeek on the other hand." she says
"you want me to talk to Zeek?" he wonders
"well yeah Joel he's her father and he deserves to know." she tells him
Joel just breathes in and out deeply and sighs "alright." he says
"alrighty then." she says just looking at him
