A/N: Here is yet another spider encounter if mine. Turned into what I hope will be an enjoyable fanfic.

Ruka X Kain based.

Akatsuki Kain watched as his best friend/ secret crush talked animatedly to her friend Rima, both girls giggling at something that was beyond his imagination. He sighed when he realised his irritating blonde cousin had disappeared from side.

Where could he have gone?

He thought to himself. Any further thoughts had been cut short when Ruka, Rima and himself turned the corner to the classroom. His sharp eyesight caught a glimpse of blonde hair hiding behind the opposite wall. Dread immediate in Akatsuki's chest, for he knew what lurked around there and with Hanabusa with it and Ruka's arachnophobia... RUKA"S ARACHNOPHOBIA!

He ran to stop his cousin before he committed the unforgivable. But he was too late, as the girls rounded the corner; Hanabusa had thrown the spider at Ruka, who was now in full freak out mode. Screaming, laughing and crying all at once. Rima, having a slight fear herself, backed off a bit.

Akatsuki however ran forth to the girl, grabbed her shoulders forcing her to be still, and detangling the spider from within her long, brown hair and throwing it back at his cousin who frowned in response.

"Ruka... RUKA! Calm down it's gone, its okay" Akatsuki comforted

And before he knew what was happening, Ruka had thrown her arms around his neck, pulling him in for a hug.

"Thank you Akatsuki, thanks so much" she breaths.

"That's no problem; I promise you I will kill him later"

She breaths a laugh, but it doesn't last. She begins to cry again

"Shh Ruka its okay"

"I know it's just, that was so scary"

"I know, I know"

Akatsuki continued to hold her like that until she had finally calmed down.

"Thank you again Akatsuki"

"No problem really Ruka"

And with a swift peck on his cheek she was gone.

Akatsuki smiled to himself, before following her into the building.

A/N: Tah-Darrr another one, who would've thought I could've turned all those scary moments into fanfics? I certainly didn't.

Some of those boys I hang out with, they just don't understand what arachnophobia is like.
