Season 1: The Journey Begins

Chapter 2: The Basics of Pokémon Trainers!
"Tepig, come on out!" yelled Cheren calmly. He sent out a reddish-orange pig with black "underpants". "Tepig, use Ember!" yelled Cheren. Tepig released a storm of embers from its snout.
"Snivy, dodge it and use Razor Leaf!" asked David. Snivy dodged the embers and shot leaves from its tail. Tepig took a lot of damage. "Snivy, use Quick Attack!" Snivy ran towards Tepig.
"Tepig, use Ember!" yelled Cheren, worried about Tepig. This time it hit, but Tepig was still knocked out by Quick Attack.
"You're tough, David!" said Cheren to his cousin. "I should go back to my house."
Later, David walked downstairs to his mother. His mother was holding a grey and blue watch.
"My Xtranceiver is back!" said David excitedly. He ran upstairs to get his bag and Pokémon.
David ran to Professor Juniper's Lab. He met Cheren and Bianca in the lab.
"There is something I want you to do for me. I want you to record data on all the Pokémon in Unova for me.
"You might want to go to Accumula Town to register for the Unova League."
"Unova League?" asked David, puzzled.
Yes, the Unova League. There are eight gyms in Unova where you can defeat gym leaders and earn badges. There is Cilan, Chilli, & Cress of Striaton City, Lenora of Nacrene City, Burgh of Castelia City, Elesa of Nimbasa City, Clay of Driftveil City, Skyla of Mistralton City, Brycen of Icirrus City, and Iris of Opelucid City."
David, Cheren, and Bianca departed from the lab.
"You guys have a safe journey." yelled Professor Juniper.
"Our journey begins!" yelled David excitedly.
