A young girl, about fifteen, was skating around in the ice skating rink. Her skating outfit was a turquoise and white skating outfit and light blue ice skates. Her blue hair was pulled back into a spiky ponytail with her big lighter blue bangs blowing around.
This girl was Rio Kamishiro, the "Ice Skating Queen". Rio had won three previous yearly competitions in the past three years. That was pretty good, considering people from all over the world came. She was currently training for the competition that was coming up.
Her twin brother, Ryoga Kamishiro, was watching her from the side of the rink. His hair was more purple but still had the same color bangs, just in a different shape.
"Rio!" He called out to her after she did a toe loop jump. She slid to the edge of the rink where he was, but not after showing off by sliding on one leg of course.
"Yes, big brother?" She asked him.
"Isn't that enough practice for today? I mean, it's getting dark outside and I'm getting kinda tired." He asked her and Rio sighed.
"I guess..." she said, taking off her skates and sliding on her fuzzy, warm boots. Then, she and Shark walked out of the "empty" Ice Skating Rink. Little did she know, there was one certain blonde in there watching her skate without her knowing it...
~The day of the competition~
"Rio! Wake up!" Ryoga shook his sister and she jumped up.
"FROZEN CUPCAKES WITH SNOWFLAKES ON TOP!" She screamed. She then blinked and saw her brother shaking his head, laughing. She stuck her tongue out and looked under her bed. No skates. She looked in her closet... no skates. She slowly turned to face Ryoga. "Give. Me. My. Competition. Skates." She said, holding out her hand. He gave her turquoise skates with diamonds on them. She ran off to the bathroom so she could change into the skating outfit she used ONLY for competitions. It was a white and light blue dress that went to her thighs. In the back of the dress, it was longer, almost down to her ankles. The top of the dress curves so it makes a heart. It has little diamonds embedded in it. She quickly got into her outfit and put on her makeup. Turquoise lipstick? Check! White eyeshadow? Check! Blue mascara? Check! She put on her light pink choker locket that her brother gave her, slid on her brown boots, got on her black jacket, and ran out the door, skates in hand.
Rio, wait up!"
~At the Ice Rink~
When Rio walked into the rink, she heard a lot of kids talking to their mothers, who were prepping them up for the competition.
"Mum, that's enough makeup!"
"Mother, may I have some Ice Cream before the competition starts?"
Rio smiled at the scene of so many kids skating. A few minutes after she came, the competition started...
~About half an hour after it started~
"And give it up for our very own, the Ice Skating Queen, Rio Kamishiro!"
"You can do this Rio." Her brother nodded. She smiled and went out onto the ice. While a lot of people clapped, someone named Kite probably clapped loudest...
