This isn't a story. I wrote this in my first year in highschool and I thought "why not share it". I got a small amount of insiration from Fenrir, one of Loki's supposed sons.

If you guys wanna leave a review about what you think the poem is about then feel free to and I will tell you the meaning I had thought of.

Enjoy!

The biting wind was dulled as it hit the soft, thick strands of my coat
The thick layer of snow under my pads not slowing my sprint
The smell of pine and snow from the towering trees caressed my senses.

Breaking through the foliage, my eyes are drawn to the gently flowing stream.
The water softly making it's way down the frosty hillside
The only patch of sun in the whole forest was slowlt melting the dangling chandeliers of ice
The water dripping down to join the early morning dew already situated on the ferns.

Suddenly, You appear, stepping out between the frost covered bark
Racing to meet, my heart leaping out of my cheat in delight
Your russet fur turning gold in the light, like a freshly born star.

The seconds it takes me to get to you feels like hours
And your long coat is worm against mine as we touch
Those emerald green eyes pierce my very being
That smirk which makes others, even me, swoon.

But alas, all good things must come to an end
So I open my sapphire eyes and stare at my hand
Gently pushing a lock of raven hair behind my ear.

Sighing, I roll onto my side to see You,
Sitting atop my wooden desk
Your emerald eyes twinkling in glee, smirk ever present
Your russet hair turning gold in the light
And me, ever faithful at your side.

I stroke the frame gently before spinning onto my other side
With a small smile gracing my lips
And a single thought flittering through my mind

How can you create in me
A feeling so strong and deep
A sensation that still smoulders in my veins
Yet seems to burn me more every day

So for you, my wolf, till we meet again
In a thousand years to come.
