A/N – yeah...hehe R&R????
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Please welcome...Connect 3!!!!!!!"
The stadium erupted in cheers as the three heartthrobs made their way onto the stage.
One second Shane Gray the lead singer was smiling and playing around with the mike, waving to the fans but the next he froze. He couldn't twitch a finger. He looked out into the audience with aw in his eyes.
"Shane!" hissed his band mate Nate trying to get Shane out of this zombie mode.
"Mitchie." He whispered. His Mitchie. She was here. Staring at him. Smiling. Then she slowly began to turn away and walk towards the exit.
"Mitchie!" Shane dropped the mike and ran off stage, out of Nate's and Jason's grasp. They ran after him.
He didn't stop running until he was outside the building into the pouring rain. "Mitchie" he kept on muttering. He looked around but there was no one there. He let her out of his life – again. He always prayed for another chance and when he got it, he let it slip. Just like the first time. But she was back. He saw her. And that was enough to keep him together for another year, maybe he'll find someone else but that seemed highly impossible.
"Shane" laughed a sing-song voice. Shane turned around a full 360 angle but saw nothing. He tried to see, but there wasn't anything. He was standing alone on the damned street in the pouring rain. "Shane" this time when Shane turned his head he saw her. She was beautiful. As gorgeous as ever. Wearing a white flowy summer dress paired with her bare feet. "Shane"
He was coming, walking slowly up to her. "Shane? Did you miss me?" she whispered in the same sing-song voice that Shane's ears haven't heard in such a long time.
Shane nodded, edging closer but Mitchie took a step back. There were only a couple of meters between them.
Shane outstretched his hand but Mitchie looked away, Shane followed her gaze and spotted a bright light coming closer and closer...and then she was gone.
The car hit her not even leaving a little bit of trace to show that she was really here. "NO!" screamed Shane falling to his knees. He lost her...yet again. This time forever.
"Shane!" Shane's head jerked up but this wasn't who he wanted to see, it was Nate and Jason.
"What's wrong with you man?!" yelled Nate trying to get Shane to stand up Yeah Shane! You're gonna catch your death!" added Jason
"Mitchie" he gasped. Nate and Jason exchanged worried glances. "Mitchie, she was here. But I let her go. I wasn't strong or brave enough. I didn't have what it takes. She left me, again!" gasped Shane looking around himself like a mad-man.
"Shane. Shane" tried Nate getting down beside his friend "Mitchie. Mitchie's dead Shane...and has been for the last 3 years"
"WHAT? NO!" shrieked Shane "SHE WAS HERE! I SAW HER!" Nate tried to comfort him but it was useless...Shane went on screaming and crying until he just didn't have it in himself anymore.
"She's dead. She's dead" he muttered
"Shane...I'm here...I'm here...Shane..."
