Dreams were a mysterious thing.

Who would have imagined that he would have such dreams?

Kuon Hizuri, didn't tell his wife about his reoccurring dream, she was sure to be worried and might go all weird, trying to find out what it means.

But, he did have to wonder why he was constantly dreaming about a beaten teenager who lunged in front of a car.

He refused to have somebody mess with his head in hopes of gaining the meaning of it, he was big enough as a star, for the press to catch wind of any 'special lessons' and have it plastered all over the front page, questioning his sanity.

Besides, no dream stays forever, they will all soon pass, like nothing happened and he would naturally forget them over time.

To think that not telling somebody about his dreams would come to bite him in the ass one day.

It all started out, as an average day for him.

Get up, kiss his wife and kids, call parents, drive his kids to school and then head to work with his wife.

Over the years, he and Kyoko had become world famous, even though they still chose to stay in Japan, they still often go abroad for work.

He and his wife would check in on their children using cell phone, every hour or so and Kyoko would drag him away, whenever if wad lunch time, to make sure he ate a proper meal.

Being in charge of bringing the kids home, he left early to pick up the kids.

The greatest feeling, he had ever had, was having his six-year girl and five year boy look at him with big hazel eyes sparkling whenever they saw him.

And than he made a mistake.

Well.

How was he supposed to know, that this it would happen to him?

Being cheeky, he secretly took his kids out for ice cream, without his wife knowing about it.

It was only natural for a father to spoil their kids right?

Of course, he made them swear not to tell mommy.

In his shades and hat, to prevent anybody from recognising him, he drove to an ice cream pallor nearby and parked opposite it.

His children's beaming faces, as they got their ice cream made him smile, he than paid and lead them outside.

There should have been no traffic.

There should have been no car, coming.

While they crossed the Road, a truck suddenly came out of nowhere and his body moved before his mind could realise what was happening.

He pushed his children out of the way, just before the full impact of the Truck struck.

It hurt.

A lot.

His body was sent flying, blood, he didn't know he had, was everywhere.

"DADDY!" His two children yelled, as he soared through the air.

He then heard somebody call 911 before he blacked out.

.

.

.

He woke up, and groaned.

As expected he felt like shit.

His eyes met with the white ceiling of a hospital.

All he could think about was how Kyoko, was going to kill him and how his mother would put him on house arrest for the rest of his life.

"It's nice to see your finally awake. Mister Kaori" Said a man in a doctor uniform, suddenly coming in.

Who?

He tried to get up, only for a shot of pain to pass through him.

"You shouldn't move. It was a miracle that you survived." The Doctor said, suddenly the door burst open and an unfamiliar family came over.

A couple and young boy who looked 13.

"Nii-san! Thank god, your alive!" The young boy said, suddenly lunged at him, while he was left stunned.

"Thank god, Katsu!" Said, the man.

"Don't ever scare us like that!" Said the women, hugging him, from her red eyes, she had been crying.

Koun didn't know who the heck these people are but he wasn't going to go along with this and said. "Who are you people? How did you get in my hospital room?"

Surely security would prevent them from coming close, right?

It was then that he noticed his voice.

Why did his voice suddenly sound higher and much younger?

Meanwhile, everybody in the room froze.

"Nii-san, that's funny!" The younger boy said.

Everybody broke into awkward laughter.

"I'm not joking. Don't me that. Look kid, I don't know who your mistaken me for" Kuon said.

Silence in the room.

"Katsu..." The women in the room said. "What's your name and age?"

"My name is not Katsu" Kuon said, "It's Kuon. Kuon hizuri and I'm 28 years old"

Once everybody heard that, they all burst out laughing.

"Nii-san, that car must have messed with your brain" The younger boy said, laughing. "There is no way, you can be anyone that cool"

The doctor seemed to think of something and walked out of the room and came back with a giant mirror and then placed it in front of him and said. "Have a look"

And Kuon did, but instead of seeing his signature blond hair and hazel eyes, he was shocked to see a boy who hadn't even matured into a fully-grown man, his hair and eyes were black and the boy's complexion was terrible, bags were under his eyes and he was dressed in a hospital night gown.

It was the boy from his dreams!

While he was in shock, suddenly a huge amount of people holding microphones and cameras passed by his room, all heading in one direction.

"WE HAVE TO GET THERE BEFORE THE OTHER'S!" One man yelled, ignoring the people who were shouting no running through the halls.

"Nii-san, you pick a good day to be in hospital" The younger boy said, "Apparently Kuon Hizuri isn't that far away from this room, they even sealed off his room. Only allowing those in his family"

What?

Kuon thought the young boy was joking, and want to get up.

"You shouldn't be moving!" The doctor said.

Kuon bluntly ignored the doctor, his unfamiliar legs felt like jelly as he reached for the nearest thing for support.

The only thing that could move without actually killing those attached.

He refused to believe, what was happening to him was real.

Nobody took notice of the pale 15 year old boy, as he limped to where the commotion was the most and as he drew closer, the amount of people increased.

He was soon close enough to the room where Kuon Hizuri was apparently staying at and found it to be blocked by security and a mountain of people.

Frustrated, he left his make-shift walking stick and wobbled through, summoning what little strength he could muster and made his way to the front.

As expected there were guards preventing the media from getting closer, through the gasps, he was stunned to see his wife Kyoko with her eyes red and his own children looking sad.

But what left him stunned, was the person on the bed.

Him.

As if sensing someone watching him, those hazel eyes opened slightly and looked in his direction.

In that moment there was a suddenly sad look in his eyes before those eyes closed.

Forever.

There was a long beep coming from a machine.

That sound managed to kill the noise made from those outside.

Kuon Hizuri was dead.

"Kuon Hizuri, age 28. Time 5:02 on the 16th of November, XXXX year" somebody said, recording the time of death.

Kuon felt his world spin.

What?

Dead?

Surely this was a joke.

There was no light in Kyoko eyes as the proclaim was made, his child where too young to understand death but they know it wasn't a good thing, if their mother was so eerily quiet.

Who knows how his parents will react.

Kuon know he had to clear up this misunderstanding and said. "Hey, I'm not dead"

Everybody turned to look at him.

A 15-year-old boy who just spoke.

"Kyoko, it's me, Kuon" Kuon said, but what happened next left him stunned and lots of people looking on in shock.

Kyoko walked up to him and slapped him.

The sound of the slap could be heard throughout the hospital.

Kuon was stunned to see the pure hate in her eyes, before she grabbed the children.

"Mister, please don't pretend to be our daddy" Said his own little girl, before they both lead away by their mother.

"Isn't that a bit too cruel?" Suddenly somebody said. "Her husband just died and that boy is claiming to be him."

"Maybe, he's here in the hospital for treatment?" Another person said.

Kuon suddenly felt hundreds of gazes on him, each one drawing their own conclusions.

Not one person believed he was Kuon Hizuri.

His actions were either interpreted as cruel or the actions of a super obsessed fan.

"Come back to your room, Nii-san" Said, a young boy, grabbing his hospital gown but this time he didn't protest.

To think there would be a day where his wife would actually slap him and his own children wouldn't be able to recognise him.

The shock was too great and by the time he came too, he was back in the hospital room and the family outside was talking to the doctor.

He could hear them.

"What should we do, Doctor?" The women voice sounded.

"He's in shock" The doctor said. "Maybe pretending to be the now deceased Kuon Hizuri was his way of coping. It was reported that he tried to commit suicide. Maybe when he woke up, he tried to escape reality by pretending to be somebody. Seeing the real Kuon Hizuri must have been a very big blow to his mind. It's too early to determine if he's mentally unstable."

But he was not.

Kuon could remember it all clearly.

The day, he and Kyoko got married.

The day, he and Kyoko met for the first time as kids.

The day, his little girl was born.

The day, he was teased endlessly by his manager and boss, when they both started dating.

The day, he finally showed the world his true self.

The day, he realised the new girl at LME was the girl he met a decade before.

The day, he decided to tell Kyoko everything.

The day, he got his smile back.

The day, he found out who Boo the Chicken was and how hilarious he found it.

Countless other memories, were dancing around in his mind.

How could he have so many memories, so vivid and accurate, if he wasn't Kuon Hizuri?

He could even remember the night Rick died.

But nobody would believe him.

He was stuck in the body of kid that was barely on his way to adulthood.

He had seen how much his words hurt his family, continuing to claim he was Kuon Hizuri would make it that much worse.

But if he wasn't the owner of this body, did that mean the person he saw on that bed was the owner of this body?

Something so supernatural as swapping soul's, wasn't something he fiscally believed in, but his current predicament, forced him to believe it.

His old body was useless, did that mean he was forced to live out his days as a kid named Katsu?

Did he even have a choice?

It was either that or be shipped to a 'special hospital'.

Maybe, if he was lucky, he could look out for his family from afar.

The door to his hospital slowly opened and the family was stunned to see 'Katsu' at the door.

There was silence as he said with a smile that had a very refreshing aura.

"Doctor, I think I'm better now. Although I can't remember anything. When can I leave the hospital?"

He would have to live as this kid for now.

Meaning his family couldn't help but think.

Since when could Katsu smile like that!?

And scene!

So, what do you guy's think? Please review!
