Author's Note: Hey, so this popped in my mind as I experienced a similar thing today. I thought I'd use it for a very short one-shot.

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring

Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun

Now the jingle hop has begun

The Glee Club was dancing to the beat and singing their hearts out. Everyone seemed happy. All except one. Quinn.

The pain was throbbing in her head. She hated when that happened. She felt like her brain was being compressed to a pea size. Her vision was going down as the world got slightly blurry.

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time

Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square

In the frosty air.

Mr Shue expected them to dance and sing around, give all their energy in the rehearsals for the McKinley Christmas Show. He had thought it was a great way to get new recruits and raise some funds for the trip to Nationals.

She couldn't concentrate. The pain was bring tears to her eyes. She lip-sang as singing louder would make her cry. She panicked a bit. She didn't have her medicine for the migraines. How could she have been so dumb and forgot to put it in her bag last night?

What a bright time, it's the right time

To rock the night away.

When had the room got so stuffy? She wanted to go out. The lights, the sound were too much. Her head felt like a bomb ticking away until it was going to exploded.

Tiredly, she copied the dance steps that Mike demonstrated, wishing for the end of the lesson.

She really wanted to tell someone she didn't feel well but that would simply bring attention to herself. She might be one of the top dogs at McKinley but in reality she hated attention. She was a very shy girl and she put up that strong hard ice façade to protect her, feel less vulnerable.

Jingle bell time is a swell time

To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh

Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet

Jingle around the clock

Mr Schue was staring at her. He stopped the music and called out to her:

"Come on Quinn! A bit more enthusiasm won't kill you! It's Christmas! We have to nail this show!"

It might kill me, she thought. If you only knew how I felt.

Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet

That's the jingle bell,

That's the jingle bell,

That's the jingle bell rock.

Thank gosh the end of Glee Club was near. She couldn't stand it any longer. The bell went and she rushed out of the room first and burst out the doors of McKinley.

The gush of fresh air hit her straight away and immediately she found herself relaxing a bit.

Author's Note: Certainly not one of my best pieces but I still appreciate reviews and comments.
