"Bog… hey, Bog." Her husband only stirred to grumble something incoherent and pull her tighter to him. She struggled slightly against him. It was no use; he was too strong. She laughed softly and smirked, well, two can play at this came. With a less than graceful battle cry, she threw herself on top of him, tackling him. His eyes snapped open and only managed to utter a quick "Whoa!" before she rolled them across the bed.
He playfully growled at her, trying to regain control by gently stretching out his clawed fingers and tickling her. She jerked and screamed, choking on laughter. He grinned, but had no mercy and soon tears spilled down her red cheeks and she couldn't breathe.
Finally, he quit and allowed her to regain her breath.
"That… was… mean!" She cried in a huff, still getting her breath back. He merely shrugged, smirking evilly at her.
"You started it."
She scoffed and then threw her arms around his neck, pulling him down to her. He eagerly responded to her heated kiss.
"Marianne…" he sighed into her mouth. She adored the way he said her name. She pressed closer to him and his arms went tightly around her, lowering them back to the bed. Her hands reached to stroke his thin cheeks and then wrapped around him, nails digging into his back. He moaned softly and her eyes opened. She smirked against his lips and wrenched away from him, quickly flipping over until she sat heavily on his chest, pinning his arms beneath his own body. He blinked out of a daze.
"Ha!" She turned up her noes. "I win!"
"You little imp!" He yelled at her and she only laughed joyfully. She stuck out her lip to pout at him, leaning in to press her lips to the tip of his nose.
"Aw, is someone upset?"
He struggled to pull his arms free but she pushed him down harder.
"Ya know," she giggled and he growled. "You'd think you'd stop falling for that after a while."
"Oh, shut up." He grumbled and she only laughed again.
"C'mon, King Bog. It's time to start the day."
He sighed and she leaned, capturing his lips in a sweet, real kiss. She pulled away and stared into his blue eyes.
"I love you."
He rolled his eyes, but smiled softly, a small blush on his cheeks.
"Love you, too, Tough Girl."
