She, someone who is destined for greatness, only to be stripped of everything she had in the end, is the one who should be forgiven, right?
That is not always the case.
Because of her upbringing and a lust for power, she tossed aside trust and meaningful bonds so that she would climb upon the steps towards the throne, and she would see the fools who tried to take her down upon her feet, a smile twisted upon her features.
Drifting in and out of consciousness in her prison, forever to mourn the loss of her innocence and the defeat she was dealt with by her only brother and a Waterbender, she has no one to blame but herself, but in the end, she is the only one to be punished for what terrible things she had done, what she had learned from her father.
Only a princess would know what it means to be broken, and it was the case for the once powerful Azula. All she can do now is wait for the forgiveness that she will never receive, and lament the irony of her fate that was bestowed upon her. She only wanted to rule the great nation, and she became a cruel mistress in the bitter end.
