A Christmas fanfic ppl! I know Tenten and Neji are probably OOC, but this is the first time im writing one focused on only them, anyway...

The night of December 24th was cold and dark in Konoha. Most of the shinobi were all out drinking or having a good time with their families. Hyuuga Neji however, was not like most shionbi; he was returning from a two month mission and all he wanted right now was to spend Christmas Eve with his girlfriend Tenten. The only problem with this demand was that he could not find the damned brunette anywhere he looked. She was not at her apartment, she was not at the training grounds, she was not with the other girls, she was not on a mission, he was even crazy enough to check Ichiraku. By now the Hyuuga prodigy was beyond ticked and wanted to rip somebody's head off.
Neji decided to stop by a popular bar to talk to the ex-senseis thinking they prehaps knew where Tenten was. The bar was dim and noisy, the patrons all talking in loud slurs with each other. Neji's nose wrinkled in disgust as the heavy smell of alcohol entered his senses. He quickly scanned the group currently in the bar and twitched slightly as he saw Tsunade in the back corner, drinking and gambling. He turned away and spotted Kakashi and Gai near the stage talking. As he was making his way through the crowd to talk to them he bumped into one of the waitresses and caused her to start falling over. His reflxes reacted quickly and he jumped forward to catch her.
"Sorry, here I'll help you." As he pulled the woman up the sight of twin buns entered his vision. The girl he was holding was his girlfriend... dressed in the most revealing outfit he had ever seen. Tenten grinned weakly up at Neji, knowing she was in trouble. "Tenten would you please explain to me why you are dressed in such a manner?" Tenten gulped slightly when Neji spoke calmly, a sure sign he was pissed. She chuckled nervously and tugged on his wrist, pulling him towards the back of the bar. She pulled him into a hallway in the back and sighed.
"Well, it's a funny story really. Tsunade owed the bar's owner a favor and he needed another waitress, so she told me to do it. I would have refused, but she was very convincing." Neji blinked, and then growled. He turned and would have gone to murder the Hokage, but was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. Neji looked back to Tenten, his right eye was twitching slightly. Tenten however, was not focused on Neji, instead she was looking at something above them. Neji followed her line of sight and came upon a mistletoe. He looked back down at Tenten and blinked twic; he then tugged her forward and kissed her hard. The kiss lasted for a few moments, then they both broke apart panting slightly.
"So, why did you accept the mission?" He raised an eyebrow as a sour look came over Tenten's face.
"It wasn't a mission, it was a death threat." Unknown to the pair, their last teamate, Rock Lee had managed to get a picture of them kissing under the mistletoe.
