"Guys, I have just realized something, we have been to everyone's house except Remus'. Oy Lupin!!!!" James shouted, pushing Remus off the couch and onto the floor. It was a week before the Christmas holidays, and the Marauders were lounging around in front of the fireplace.

"Evil potatoes? Moony, I think that you have finally lost your last grip on sanity."

"Trust me, Prongs, I lost it a looong time ago." Remus said sleepily getting up from the floor. "What were you guys talking about that was so important that you had to wake me up?"

"Oh, Remus we are going to your house for Christmas holidays, we have already sent an owl to your parents telling them that."

"…And have you got a reply yet?" Just as Remus said this a tawny owl landed on his lap. He quickly scaned the letter and crumpled it into his pocket.

"Well? Remus can we stay?"

Remus; Say no, say it

"Yes."

Remus; Damn it!!!! What part of no don't you understand!!!!

"Can you see your parents Remus?" James said. The three of them had just stepped onto the platform, two of them looking around for adults that looked a little like Remus.

"They're not coming guys, follow me." Remus said walking forward through the barrier and into the muggle world, leaving his two friends behind in the wizarding world, confused and running franticly after him.
