Disclaimer: I do not own Ouran High School Host Club.

Notes: I just whipped this up, it's 8:18am and I haven't been to bed yet because this idea is killing me. I noticed while re-watching the show that Haruhi doesn't show as much 'friendly love' towards Kyoya.

Light,

She basked in the light of the full moon; she was just standing there on the balcony looking so beautiful with her short brown hair and naïve innocent bright brown eyes.

It didn't bother him that she was wearing a tux because he could tell she was a female, he could tell from the way she moved.

He would watch her body sway ever so slightly from side to side giving off vibes to every passing person be it male or female, and it affected him the most.

He could she was female by the way she spoke, giggled at the twins jokes or laugh full out while watching one of her favorite movies.

He would sit next to his blonde haired friend and sneak small glances at the girl beside him and watch her shaking form as she laughed, a light smile settling on her pretty pale cherry lips making him wish he could reach over and gently brush his against hers.

That was why he sat beside Tamaki, to stop himself from kissing her stupid.

He could she was female by her body language, how she would lift her hand to cover a secret smile, or how she would tilt her head when she was confused.

He was never close to her, he could never get close to her, she was the twins' toy, Hunni and Mori's cake eating companion and friend and she was Tamaki's self declared 'daughter'.

And he, he was the bullet proof glass window, the wolf in sheep's clothing, the sneaky snake that could only do things that had merit for himself.

So any attempted to even get close to her would result in him needing to have a motive, she would expect him to have one.

But… he didn't want to need one to get close to her.

The raven haired teen sighed and turned away from the scene of a beautiful woman captured in the moons light.

Instead he looked around the room and noticed no woman could come close to being Haruhi.

He turned around once more; he wanted to commit the image of her like that to his memory but when he turned back around his dark eyes lit up in surprise.

She was watching him, her brown eyes flashing with kindness and knowledge and love, love seemed to come so easily to her, and she smiled at him. Her cherry lips turning up and she cocked her head very slightly to the side, not in confusion but in happiness.

Kyoya couldn't help the small barely-there smile that had come upon his lips, a real smile, and he looked at her standing towards him with the full moon behind her lightening up her very soul.

He gave a nod and walked away, the barely there smile still lingering, and thought 'Maybe she wouldn't think I needed merits.'

His eyes became amused as something crossed his mind, 'The moonlight woman, the woman of light.'

And that, to him, was just what she was, the bright light to his glass soul making it glitter and shine in the dark.

Ok that wasn't as well as I wanted it to be but who knows maybe some will like and maybe they wont.

Well I'm off to bed people, goodnight/morning and Merry Christmas everyone.
