In the slightly distant future,
2015 A.D.
There was a boy named Shinji,
And what a spineless kid was he.
He was selected by the Marduk Institute,
To become a pilot in a blue plugsuit.
He did a good job cleaning up Misato's place,
But his dad didn't like him,
So he made Shinji fight the Angel race!

"He'll fight fifteen Angels,
"For the instrumentality of mankind. (la-la-la)
"We'll kick back and have a guffaw,
"As we watch him lose his mind (la-la-la)
Now keep in mind Shinji can't control,
When the angst begins or ends. (la-la-la)
But he'll try to save humanity,
With the help of his pilot friends.

If you're wondering how a S2 engine works,
And other science facts, (la-la-la)
Then repeat to yourself, "It's just anime,
It makes no sense 'cause it's Gainax".

: Not much to say on this one. This little bit of fluff is the result of a goofy conversation I had with a buddy of mine. Don't take the riffing on Shinji seriously. I really do like him.
