Disclaimer: I don't own Sangoku Musou/Dynasty Warriors and it's characters. K?

Found some ficlets that was somewhat worth posting... It had been a long time... Might try to look for more to post soon...

Something really random about little Liu Shan and his love for his savior. Not really sure if you could think of it as slashable. I could honestly say that I love a motherly!Zhao Yun to widdle Adou. Augh, I guess I read too much Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Anyways... Zilong... is Zhao Yun's Style name. The guy never misses saying it in the japanese version, I don't know what happened why they never added those in the english script.

-~ After his Flight

Liu Shan woke up again from another nightmare. His hand desperately tried to find the comfort and warmth of another but was unable to find it. He just remembered it would never come back...

Tears filled his eyes, "Zilong's gone..." he was not out there fighting any of his father's wars anymore. He was really dead. "Father, I want him back..." he cried, pleading to the dead.

It was useless.

'What is the matter, young master?' the comforting voice would always calm him. 'Please do not fret, I shall always be by your side to keep you safe,' he recalled the promise the honest man had made.

But where was he now?

Zhao Yun were one of the people he had loved dearly, and one who loved him back. But the man was bound by another promise, it was to his father and Liu Shan somewhat hated it that his little dragon would still go out there and fight a dead man's war.

No matter how much Zhao Yun tried to convince him that it was also his war, he wouldn't listen. The Shu general would simply smile and say, 'I am not fighting for him anymore, it is now for you. For your place in this world, my lord,' Zhao Yun knew how talented and powerful Liu Shan really was. He was just hiding everything.

Still...

He never asked for it. He didn't want it. He never wanted it.

He didn't know what ideas his father gave Zhao Yun, for it surely killed him.

But...

Without his father and the late general's meeting, he would never have had Zhao Yun. Or even had survived a potential death when he was a baby.

"Rest well, my beloved Zilong..." all he could do was cry.

He was really gone and never coming back...
